"This wonderful property had all the comforts and conveniences of home, in a quiet and convenient location. Nothing was lacking, especially in the kitchen. The living room was spacious and well furnished. The rocking chairs on the front porch were a great spot for an afternoon beverage and relaxing conversation, or to check email on the super fast WiFi network. Other amenities that we did not use because we were too busy playing tourists on the penisula included bicycles, a fire pit, a gas grill on a spacious back deck, and the washer/dryer. If we lived closer, this property would be on our "must-visit often" list."

"My family and I all had the best time, and my family would love to come back in the near future and stay again. It was so peaceful and away from everything that we felt like we could recharge our batteries, but also close enough to everything that we had a lot of adventures. But nothing beats being able to look out the window and see the lake and step out the door and be steps from the dock. The surroundings are beautiful and calming, and the cabin as everything you need while also being very cozy. It really was perfect. We loved it."

"If you want a peaceful retreat, go stay there as soon as possible! The ability to walk out your door no more than 30 feet and experience Lake Michigan was fabulous. I cannot recall having a stay as tranquil as this place. The home is small but was plenty for our needs. Should we return to Door County, checking with Becca is the first thing we’ll do."

"My family and I were thrilled this this amazing house in a quiet wooded location. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen and huge deck for meals, playing cards and just relaxing. We had 5 adults and 3 little ones and there was plenty of room to spread out. The large kitchen table made meal time a breeze. The communication with the property manager was wonderful, and we plan to return next year. Thanks for a great stay! Highly recommend this location"

"Just finished a short but lovely stay. Loved the steady sound of waves and otherwise very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend the Cave Point to Whitefish Dunes trail along Lake Michigan. Gorgeous! And relatively easy as trails go. There appears to be a longer loop I wish we’d had time for. House was just as advertised, and all the amenities we needed and more. Super clean, easy, really enjoyed it. Wish we’d had at least one more night!"

"We had a near perfect week at Hugo’s on the Bay. The house was cozy, beds comfortable and window views fantastic! We spent a lot of time on the dock watching sunsets. The lake was very quiet and peaceful during our stay. If renters like having a TV on the main floor, they should be aware that there are only TV’s in the bedrooms & loft seating area. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs…our Lab loved the lake!"
