"When I checked the staff was very friendly and courteous. We also got help with our luggage and the person who helped was helpful and gave us good tips for sightseeing. The only hiccup was the room don’t have a refrigerator and when I asked to move rooms that had a refrigerator they said it was not necessary and sent one right up. I was happy about that! "

Management, though… let’s say they’re still stretching for the starting line.Night one: no lighter for the fire pit. They offered to bring one tomorrow, which is sweet but useless when you're ready to roast now. Pro tip: pack your own flame.At 4 AM the carbon monoxide alarm decided to audition for “Most Annoying Bird.” Took calling at 9:30 to get it fixed, followed by a casual “that’s weird” and zero apology. Vacation vibes? Slightly singed.Bonus oddities: glowing locked-door closet (portal?), empty soap, and peanut M&Ms in the shower. Delicious, not exfoliating.Beautiful house and wonderful owner. But management needs a glow-up. We’d come back once they figure out that lighters, quiet alarms, and basic hospitality aren’t Olympic events."

"Beautiful home, all necessary amenities provided. Super nice to prepare meals at home! House heated up very nicely with fireplaces. Quick and kind communication with owners and maintenance when we failed to realize the fireplaces had switches and asked for a later check out than 10. Location very nice. Easy access to highway 50 to explore Tahoe's east shore! Cannot forget to mention the wonderful hot tub under a beautiful starry sky. The steam shower after was truly perfect! Master bedroom was the only bed we used, very comfortable, got a great night's rest and felt great to hike and explore every day! Also, loved the appliances and luxury of the kitchen. I love not having to drink bottled water on vacation, refrigerator water was a major bonus! Just perfect! "

"We stayed at this beautiful property 10 years ago and wanted to come back as we couldnt forget the charm and the beauty of this beautiful bed and breakfast. The owners, Barb and Fred are such a cute couple. They provided a wonderful breakfast with meats, cheese, pastries and more. Plus the coffee was excellent. They also have 2 very cute dogs, Missy and Fluffy that will greet you when you arrive. Barb gave us excellent recommendations on things to do and great places to eat. "Property was fantastic. Loved the concierge option and this was exactly what we wanted. The views, multiple deck & seating areas were great. Wished the 3 room in the main house was a queen bed with a pull out if needed since we were all adults it was a bummer for one to sleep on a twin but I’m sure for kids or singles it’s helpful. "
