This was our second visit to Holiday Inn Mobor in two years. Had a relaxing time there. Clean rooms, great service, private beach access which is clean and a restaurant being right there on the beach makes it very convenient. Very safe for kids. The food is excellent. The lawns are well manicured, pool is lovely. Overall it's a beautiful property with great food, staff, service and we would visit it again.

Overall this was a great stay in general. We stayed for a wedding. Positives: In general the staff were good, and the resort is well kept and clean. The staff at the Zest cafe were awesome! The food was good and fresh. The breakfast in general was great. Negatives: Slightly poor experience at the bar area by the reception by staff there. More vegetarian pastries please :)

Opposite of relaxation

There was a destination wedding making other guests like us feel like wedding crashers. Blaring loud gaudy music all day and night made it opposite of a relaxing gate away. If you want to make it a wedding destination resort then do not give reservations to regular guests who are looking for some relaxation time.

Excellent hotel. It has all the amenities and great location. You have restaurants inside with variety and even some music shows at night, there is also a beach club. On the beach a few steps away (outside the hotel) you can find kayaks, banana boats, all very fun, we kayaked for $1000 rupees for an hour at an incredible sunset. At the hotel you have a bicycle rental for 200 rupees p/h, this allows you to go out and explore the local markets. The whole area is very beautiful, you have great freedom. We really liked the hotel, at the end of our trip we changed hotels to see a different one but doing this was definitely a mistake, we should have stayed the entire time at the Holliday Inn. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived to the time we left the the staff were welcoming, accommodating, helpful and courteous. In fact, my experience with Holiday Inn started when I booked the hotel a few months ago. I emailed several times and each time they responded quickly, efficiently, politely and with helpful information. Nothing was ever too much for them and their communication skills are excellent - this gave me great confidence after I made the booking. (Other hotels lacked this which did not give me the reassurance I needed). As far as I am concerned, my holiday starts when I have made the booking and having reassurance is extremely important otherwise instead of looking forward to it, you can be worried. Thank you to all those staff on the front desk who responded to my emails. Also a big thank you to concierge for going to the pharmacy to get me medicine for the infected bites I had. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff throughout were extremely accommodating especially to some of the dietary requirements we had. Thank you to all the chefs for making us the dishes we required. We celebrated two wedding anniversaries and the staff acknowledged this. We also organised a surprise private beach dinner which was beautiful and a lovely experience - thank you Praveen for this. The hotel has a private access to the beach, well worth it. The beach was extremely clean, even the water was clear, so so clean! I was extremely impressed with it!

Excellent and beautiful in every way. Its location is isolated from Cavelossim 3 km to the north such that one must take a cab to get to alternative restaurants at the rate of 1.25/mile. BYI there are no cars for rent at GOI airport but there is a place just before departing the airport doors where they will give a ticket of what should pay your driver to get to the hotel (1330 rupees) so that you won’t get ripped. There are two schedules of taxi charges: the real one, and then the higher what I dub as the hotel rates. We were very fortunate to find an excellent driver with a more spacious, well air conditioned vehicle. We asked him to drive us to the spice farm in the SE corner of Goa and the national park a few miles further southeast. He had never been there before and joined us in the spice tour(outstandingly!). Two days later we asked us to drive us via a short ferry boat ride to Divar island to see some very old cathedrals. He had never been there either. We continued that trip to North Goa only a few block from the ferry slip. Alfred was our driver’s name (ph; 91-9823215674 (taxi GA-08,U7034). A major problem, indeed altercation with management occurred upon departure: they refused to honor two free passes to the Zest Cafe, a breakfast and a dinner. Both my wife and I clearly heard the offer and presented cards to surrender at the cafe. We offered to split the costs of those meals, but they refused. This is a major lack of integrity!
