"My stay at the Jerusalem Gate Hotel was okay overall, but there were a few disappointing parts. Some of the staff made me feel a bit unwelcome at times, and the synagogue was not available when I needed it, which was inconvenient. The room also felt somewhat outdated and gray, and housekeeping could have paid a little more attention to detail when making the bed. With some improvements to service and room upkeep, the experience could be much better."

"Hotel was pretty good but noise and cleanliness were affected by light rail construction in the street, not their fault, and of course, personell presence might have been affected by war-time absences. This is still our favorite hotel in Jerusalem. Food is still the best. Rooms are the most comfortable in this price range."

"No complaints about the lobby, location or the facility around, but you cannot play dumb when you know the wall from the bathroom to the bedroom has been completely water damage and you patches like a an unprofessional 12 years old. I only stayed one night and I came around 9 PM knowing I’m leaving at 9 AM so I decided not to complain. This is two walls approximately 15‘ x 15‘ completely damaged and looking ugly so there’s no way they don’t know about that. When you as a hotel management think that this is OK then you don’t deserve more 3 stars"

"The staff was VERY helpful! We were disappointed that there was no breakfast, but we understood that it was because of the war and fewer guests. For at least one night, we were the only ones! Any time there was a problem, the staff addressed it immediately. Parking was convenient, and the maid service was excellent."
