"The fireplace was wonderful, it did get cold enough to use it. The bed was comfy and the couch was perfect for napping or sleeping. The kitchen had nice pans and a few cooking necessities like oil and spices. We were fascinated by the hay bale construction of the cabin and how beautiful and warm the house was. We self toured our little section of woods and said hello to the sheep. Unfortunately the weather was quite cool so we did not spend much time out doors. "

The home was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need — from kitchen essentials to cozy blankets and extra towels.The location was ideal: quiet and peaceful, yet close to great restaurants, shops, and local attractions. We especially loved the hot tub.Our host was fantastic — friendly, responsive, and clearly cares about making guests feel welcome. Check-in was smooth, and we really appreciated the helpful local tips they shared.We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. "

"Nice little house in a good location for access to Seneca Lake attractions. Spouse and I stayed for 2 nights for a weekend getaway. Check-in was simple and host communications were thorough and timely. The house was clean and well-stocked and featured easy parking, good WiFi, a large yard with fire ring, and a covered deck. We appreciated the updated kitchen. The house layout is a little odd—a formal sitting room inside the front door (TV, couch, and power recliner) and a second, larger space at the rear of the house that may have been a formal dining room but is now a second living room (recliners, TV, and a high-top bistro table in a corner). Other layout notes: Light switches are in odd places (bathroom fixtures are controlled from the hallway), although the host has done a good job of labeling switches to help guests to identify which are for what fixtures. There’s a toilet in the walk-in closet in the master. Both beds appeared to be full rather than queen. Overall a nice base of operations for a weekend away. "

"The house was very nice, just as advertised and the surroundings were peaceful and remote and only 10 mins fron Watkins Glen. Most everything you might need for a 4 to 7 day stay was available. I would say my only complaint was the sulfur smell of the well water. If i was the owner, id be looking into a serious charcoal filtration system. If your used to city water, you're going to have issue with this properties water supply. We made due with plenty of bottled drinking water, but washing dishes, taking showers etc was unpleasant. "
