The hotel has the bare minimum. The facilities and amenities are super old and degraded. The towels are very used. The shower drying towel was in shreds and dirty. The AC was super old. The sheets were clean but very old. The room smelled. They didn’t have sink soap, as they directed me to use the shower get that was fixed in the wall in the shower. Constant smell from the kitchen downstairs. And the area is terrible.

Definitely not worth the price. "King" bed was 2 twins pushed together, not very comfortable. Hot water went out twice, water kept leaking in the bathroom. Noisy construction in the adjacent parking garage that sent exhaust through the vents. Ant problem, couldn't leave food out at all. Breakfast was bland. Staff was friendly and helpful, but that's about the only upside.

Reasonable hotel but quite basic. Close to Robinsons Mall at The centre of Cebu with lots of eating places to choose from and a reasonable spit to be based for tours

I asked for two days to get a second key to no prevail. I had to have housekeeping let me in to my room. The first key was used to keep air conditioning on it was super hotel and no ventilation. The window had an awesome view of the utIlity corridor which was extremely hot as well. Strange odor in room as well and I got sick after two days. I think something was bad in hotel. I never get sick felt fine next day. The food was good and would recommend the breakfast . Loved the black rice and thick bacon.

This is a 3 star hotel with 5 star service. I booked a standard room with a queen bed. The bed actually was more of a king size (two twins together). The room had a window, but no view. The view was of an interior building passage - nothing to look at. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. I would stay here again for the staff alone. Breakfast was included with my room rate and is open all day. Yes - you can get the breakfast all day and it is made-to-order as opposed to a typical buffet style. The location was very convenient. Walking distance to Osmena circle, restaurants, grocery, pubs. Super easy to catch a taxi, habal-habal, or Jeepney around the hotel or at the circle. My flight arrived very late (1 am) and the front desk had my paperwork and ready for me when I arrived at 2 am. I have no hesitation recommending Pillows for anyone looking for a quality stay at a reasonable rate.

Second time here.
Good location near Fuente and Doctors Hospital good breakfast great coffee good service and always smiles and hello from staff Only problem is their towels don’t smell fresh but dirty although they’re clean! I think the detergent they use smells bad or they don’t use enough but it’s the only thing I really didn’t like.

Pros: 1. Our room was clean - bed sheets were clean, pillows nice, bathroom clean 2. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Spoke English well 3. Breakfast included in our purchase - eggs, rice, tuna, or you can get meat. Coffee and Orange juice is included (coffee is surprisingly tasty) 4. Location - didn't explore Cebu too long so couldn't say much except that it's a 5-10 minute walk the busy centre. There are malls nearby, lots of food (if you are not vegetarian! haha.) 5. Can sit in the dining area and work on laptop if you need - has wifi and tables Cons: 1. Pricier for budget travellers 2. Poor and weak WiFi in room (barely worked unless we put our phone or laptop by the door or in the hallway. I would recommend this place if you can afford it. Mid-range hotel price. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds. Our first two days travelling from Canada to Asia were spent here and we got good rest.

Mixed feelings
At first look, room looks rather clean. However, to our displeasure, the staff did not change the necessary sheets every night but simply make the beds. Not sure if this is a practice in this city. Also, there are a lot of house rules that are "hidden". You can look out for a small sticker in the room mirror that advise about hair dryer rental charge and gym operating hours written only on the door of the gym instead of at the front desk. The 2 security guards make up for everything. They are the nicest people we met in cebu!
