We had a wonderful time at verbena hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast they served every morning. The only thing I can suggest is to add another mirror outside so that we have something to use when somebody is using the bathroom where the mirror is installed.

Einfaches Hotel aber preiswert und ideal Lage.

Verbena Pension House liegt in Centrallage, neben Robinson Mall und Robinsons Galeria, jeepneys, Restaurants und Bars, nur 5 bis 10 Minuten zur Colon St, Sto. Nino Church und Magellans Cross mit jeepney, alles sind leicht zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist einfach aber sauber, mit gemütliches weiches Bett, TV, mit kalt und heißes Wasser am Flur. Badetücher, Seife und Shampoo sind vorhanden. Bei der Reception wird man mit Gürkensaft begrüßt. Das Früstück ist in Buffetform ( eat all you can), schmackhaft, und jeden Tag anders. Die Reception sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich werde dieses Hotel empfehlen.

All the staff I came in contact with were extremely helpful and pleasant. My room was clean, but here in the Philippines you have to be used to bathing with less than hot water at times. Would like to see them put microwaves in the rooms, but his is not normal here.

Smell

Staff is accomodating.... from front desk to security... but the hotel has this “ smell”.. i cannot explain... “‘menthol smell” it made my stay uncomfortable that I had to move to a different hotel after 3 days I dont recommend this hotel

Room was cockroach infested

We have to transfer rooms 3 times because all of the rooms that we get transferred has cockroach and room smells mold. My wife got bit by cockroach we she woke up next day.

새벽 늦은 시간에 체크인 하였는데에도 직원분들이 정말 친절하였습니다. 조식은 생각보다 먹을만 했습니가. 다만 냉장고가 없는것, 1층방이었는데 화장실 하수도에서 지속적으로 벌레가 나오는점을 제외하면 지낼 만 합니다.

櫃檯和服務人員都非常親切和善，只是飯店有點老舊，附近環境滿髒亂的，wifi連線非常不穩，早餐會變化菜色，但餐廳螞蟻很多，離一個賣場很近，不過其他就沒什麼好逛的了。

A hidden gem in Cebu.

Great staff, I enjoyed it here, the staff opened doors and always had a smile on their face when they saw me. A great change from budget chinese hostels. It would have been nice to have had a bedside table instead of the clothes hanger wardrobe installed next to the bed, but otherwise the rooms were well outfitted. As to be expected in a tropical location there were the expected occasional incursions of ants, but they are everywhere, even in the taxis, the rooms were clean and comfortable.
