"The location the hotel was great, right on the beach. It’s a basic hotel no frills!! Close to nice restaurants right in the center of the town. The room was clean, it was upstairs go up on the outside stairs. The amenities were basic but adequate. It had A/C but we didn’t need it, it was chilly. It would have been nice of there was a comforter! We didn’t ask for a blanket either. It had no front/reception desk, the manager/ owner (?) lived down stairs. "This was our first visit to Celestún, and it was a memorable one. The photos of the property were very accurate—it’s nicely decorated, clean, and charming. The location is fantastic, just steps from the beach. It was such a treat to wake up and walk a few steps to watch the sunrise over the ocean.
