The hotel staff was excellent. They helped us find a lovely local restaurant with authentic German food for the area. They helped us book an early morning taxi for the kids so they could make their flight in Hannover. Thr food was delicious. The room was great.

Disappointing service

We arrived late due to traffic on motorway and hotel's car park (€20) was already full, luckily there is a general car park next to the hotel with plenty of spaces (only €2 for 24hrs!). Check in was quick however our room had no power. Rather than give us another room, they came up and fiddled with fuse box above suspended ceiling. The lights came on but TV didn't work (we were asked whether we actually need it...) In the end they switched us to another room, but I had to follow them downstairs and 'assist' in the re-booking process. The new room had a piece of used cheese in the fridge but we were too tired to address it. Surprising lack of attention to detail (if electrics can count as one) but what's worse, not a word of apology from the staff - we understand things go wrong but that's why you have trained staff for, to make up for these mistakes. We no longer think highly of Hilton chain, and definitely don't associate it with top service. Shame.

The staff was very nice specially Mustafa. Very polite and accommodating. The room is spacious, great bathroom, very nice shower. Short walk to Celle downtown. The hotel is right next to a park.

Am Anreisetag stand das Zimmer um 15:00 nicht zur Verfügung. Es warteten auch bereits weitere Gäste im Foyer, um ihr Zimmer beziehen zu können. Im Bad: Halter für Toilettenpapier nur lose und locker an der Wand befestigt. Dichtung der Duschtür an den unteren 30 cm lose und scheuerte beim Bewegen der Tür über den Boden. Keine Aufhängung für Duschtücher vorhanden. Der Griff der WC-Bürste stand lose neben der Bürste. Die Bürste wurde bis zur Abreise 2 Tage später trotz sofortiger Bemängelung nicht getauscht. Alle Mängel im Bad waren definitiv nicht neu und müssten dem Personal schon aufgefallen oder gemeldet worden sein. Frühstück am Sonntag: Vollkommen unzureichende Sitzmöglichkeiten und Tische (viel zu wenig, niedrige Hocker, kleine Tischchen, ungenügend Platz). Personal zeigte keinerlei Aktivitäten, um die Situation zu organisieren. Angebot am Buffet aber gut. Check-out: Wir sprachen alle Mängel nochmal kurz an und erhielten das Angebot, uns kostenfrei aus dem Snack-Glas zu bedienen. Gegenwert 1,50 €. Das Personal machte auch diesmal nicht den Eindruck, das es die bemängelten Punkte irgendwie interessieren würde.
