"It was a great place to stay. Up on the side of a hill looking down on the Douro river. Beautiful room and spacious bathroom. We had a balcony with our room. The hosts were great and knowledgeable of things to do. Great breakfast in the morning. Even had a decanter of port wine for tasting. Definitely would stay again."

The wine tasting experience was great and plenty of options that suit what you are looking for, especially if you have a budget. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for that, than this is the spot. The highlight of the trip in Douro was the wine tour about an hour away. Beautiful area beautiful resort. "
