Stayed at the Engel for the Simple Minds concert at the Barclays Arena Hamburg (great concert!). The hotel and staff are great and a quite nights sleep. The Papilon resturant attached to the Hotel is also great! Pubic transport (Bus) into Hamburg City centre is a 10 metre walk and a Taxi around 18 Euro.

Good service , slight odour in the room when we arrived but nothing overpowering. Unusually there were no fridge or tea making facilities in the room, but a kettle and cup were provided when asked at reception.
