William Watson Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The historic feel, but still maintained well and VERY clean. Staff was nice as well. I really like the upgrades, and hope to try the restaurant next time.
Hoping they will start allowing dogs back sometime, if they can sort it out bit still had a great stay."
"While my room was small, it was very neat and clean. Fillowing its renovation all the interior spaces are essentially new and well appointed. Its located in a quiet part of town off the main throughfare resulting in a very quiet night. You need to make sure you know how to contact the owner/manager to get access to the building and your room if there is no one present. Its a unique overnight stop and i would certainly recommend it, especially for individual travelers."
"No front desk, all transactions were done remotely! If there was any issue, it would have to be done over the phone! Thankfully everything was fine, but I not a fan of getting instructions on my phone to check in! What if my phone wasn’t working or not charged since I was on the road! It was a wonderful room, but should be informed that there is no one at the hotel!"
"This beautiful, roomy house was ideal for our sister gathering as we honored our eldest sister’s 80th birthday. It provides everything we needed from thick bath towels, comfy beds to spices in the cabinets. The house is clean and relaxing. The main floor suite was perfect for the birthday girl who didn’t need to climb the stairs-although she could have! Beautiful woodwork and hardwood floors throughout. We found Louisiana, Missouri to be a charming little town overlooking the Mississippi River with friendly people and easy access to shopping. Our host was great, quickly responding to any questions or concerns. Highly recommended!"
"A nice, cozy, small town feel. Was recommended Gianni's pizza down the road from the hotel staff. Very friendly people, will stay again when I visit "
"Choose this place to stay so I could set up office while my kids spent time with their old nanny. Space worked perfectly for my needs although dust and dander were concerning. Host was extremely responsive, offered an early check in without requesting. The place was very spacious and charming for those who enjoy old farmhouse style."
