And whike the distance from the parking area to the entrance isn’t excessive, its also a landscaped terrain followed by significant stairs, so if you don't pack light, like maybe one carryon per person, a folding wagon might be the ticket to get anything larger or heavier than that to the building and up the stairs to your room without help (and not because the owners won't offer you help, they will and they are the nicest and most helpful folks you can imagine, but) staying here is all about the experience rather than just a place to rest and get refreshed before an o'dark:30 roll call in the AM."

"The first room had worn, black stains in the tub, two refrigerators in the room, one was an old apartment refrigerator, and the bathroom walls were peeling and bubbling. Disgusting. They gave us another room. Won't stay here again."
