"Property is pet friendly and includes cats. Not all places are cat friendly.We were farther from Digby than I realized but that was MY miscalculation.A short drive to Saulnierville covered all the basics of groceries, fuel, coffee/donuts, etc.House is very cute, clean. Lovely to have laundry on main floor. Great sunsets and sunrises! Owner was very responsive to questions.It is a bit creaky when the wind blows but we felt it added to the charm. Would definitely stay there again."

"This home was amazing from the view, comfort, so many extras from the host! Spacious , lots of information for surrounding amenities , games room, kids roomsSuch a perfect venue for a get together. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could think of which included a large dinning table for our gathering Beds were super comfy and overall cozy feel. "Had high expectations going in and all of them were exceeded. The house itself accommodated 4 families very comfortably and every little detail was meticulously thought through - host Madison & Jody have clearly put their heart & soul into this place which honours the local Acadian traditions. The property overlooks the ocean which allowed us to take our time and walk on it at low tide. It is located in a quiet community but close to spectacular scenery and beaches such as Smugglers Cove and Mavilette beach where the kids swam and became master beachcombers finding large never before seen sea shells. This place provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of more popular getaways. In truth, we thought the Brier Island Lighthouse easily rivalled that of Peggy’s Cove - and we had it all to ourselves. The place feels like it’s off the beaten path yet still very accessible as it is only 25 min drive from Digby ferry. We all highly recommend this place. Any one looking to catch up with family & friends away from the blare of conventional tourist swells, where the only distraction is a stunning sunset and tidal movements that leave you awestruck, cannot go wrong with the Cove House. Fully satisfied."
