The Tanjung Puting Nationalpark in Kalimantan, Indonesia, is one of the few places where wild orangutans live. The Orangutan Foundation International (OFI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of wild orangutans and their rainforest habitat. They operate Camp Leakey, an Orang-Utan Research Center in the Nationalpark. You can make a tour on a boat called Klotok and visit 3 different feeding stations where semi-wild orangutans are fed once a day to support them on their way back to autonomy. For me it was an absolut highlight to see these beautiful animals in their natural environment. #Indonesia #Borneo #Kalimantan #TanjungPuting #Nature #Nationalpark
