"Beautiful spot to stay at La Romana . The Ocean View is a must . Food was excellent . Meals there are costly especially breakfast buffet. Staff are very sweet . They have a beautiful pool and the ambience is therapeutic when you eat they have great Caribbean music playing at just the right volume . It is a surround sound and you do not have to shout to speak with whom you are dining with ."

"The best part about our stay at the property was the staff everyone was very nice and attentive to our toddlers. The staff from the kids club went out of their way to make them feel included in the activities. Such a family friendly experience. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great and the water wasn’t too warm although my husband thought it was fine. The food was really good they had a lot of options. "

"Get room closer to the beach. The Prestige club is about $65/day/percon , but well worth it. "

"Definitely not all inclusive when you can't eat at one of the 6 restaurants you paid for when you pay for all inclusive but they magically have an opening for you for dinner on the beach for an extra $100. We arrived at the hotel at 4pm and tried to make a reservation for dinner at 5pm and we're told that all the resturants were booked up for over a week and the whole time we were there but not to worry we could eat the same exact food everyday at the buffet and patted me on the shoulder with a smirk and said it was complicated. 20-30 other guests complained to me about the dinners on our stay as well. Grounds were beautiful. Beach was beautiful but not all inclusive."

"Room was impeccable, turned in bed at night. Very convenient access to everything by the room assigned golf cart. So much to do, and nightly entertainment was great. Thank you for accommodating us and for going above and beyond by letting us stay in the same room after extending our stay. Breakfast buffet had everything and it was great. Restaurants by marina were good too as well as the restaurant by the beach. Attention management feedback one night we wanted more variety and went out to eat at a local spot in Boca de Yuma and the food was amazing with all the respect better than the resort, it would be great if you can implement some of those local fish dishes and have that experience for your guests.Thank you"

"The hotel lobby area and pool area was very nice. The music was very loud in the pool area, so it was difficult to carry on a conversation. And I love music! The volume needed to be turned down to enjoy the beautiful space. Once inside the hotel we felt safe and comfortable in the public shared areas. The restaurant was fine. We ate our dinner meal and our breakfast the next morning. The room was very small and not the most comfortable space. There really wasn’t anywhere to set out luggage or hang clothes. The bathroom was decent - almost as large as the sleeping area. I am glad that we were there for only one night. The lock on the hotel room was quite flimsy. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a one night pre or post cruise stay. Longer stays would be more uncomfortable with the smaller rooms. Also, the security at the hotel was great as it is situated in an area that does not feel safe. Not a great area to be walking around and sightseeing."
