I sprang for a river front room, which was an excellent idea. The deck outside my door was right off of the lawn at the edge of the water, and it was a delight to have the soothing water sounds outside. In better weather, you can use the fire pits and Adirondack chairs to create a cozy vibe at the water’s edge. The drawback to the waterfront rooms...

Staff said that they were converting to a retirement village and it was advertised on his website that there was no breakfast, etc but on vrbo site I saw these things. No fire also. Basically cheaper places elsewhere. Wouldn't bother going back and no pleased with false advertisement."

"This was on a family trip after burying our mother. We were the ONLY ones staying, yet they wouldn't give us the cabin with wi fi. The old lock locked us out late at night and it took 30 minutes for them to help us. When I complained, they kicked us out and called the police who had us drive away in the middle of the night with an 11 yr old. "

"Lobby was clean and welcoming. Desk clerk was very friendly and gave great service. Room was clean, no bad smells, nice linens and towels. Great selection at breakfast including apples, bananas, pears and oranges! Breakfast staff person was excellent. Would definitely stay here again."
