"A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. The corridors and the rooms themselves were decorated in a very dark scheme, which even with the lights on was a little difficult to always see well. "Excelllent over-the-phone service prior to check-in, reliable out-of-hours access (this is gold dust having been let down badly by a competitor just around the corner before), very comfortable room. "Love this place and the house but the beds are too firm. If the beds were softer then it would be a solid 10/10 the pool hasn’t been available when we have been in April and October. Hot tub is in property next door and needs to be booked in advance at an extra 95. Nearest shop is 20 mins drive. But fantastic house, area and amenities. Merci beaucoup Valerie eat Jackques"
