"We have stayed at Campanile Hotels as they are conveniently situated, have ample free parking and have a restaurant. The room was clean and there was a large comfortable bed, good size bathroom and have external blinds which makes the room dark for sleeping. We were very disappointed as the restaurant was closed as it was a Sunday. The website stated it was open every day of the week including Sundays which is why we booked. Their own website should be updated! "

"Nice town to stop at. The place has obviously seen better days (probably before they built the Autoroute), but for the price it was fine. Clean, friendly with a bar and decent food. Secure parking was a bonus. Obviously if you spend more you will get better but it was just an overnight stop whilst travelling."

Would consider using again, but might look for options slight closer to the centre of Montlucon. We were only staying for one night on our way south through France. "Charming B&B in a small village, run by a lovely Dutch host. The room was big and fortunately had aircon, which was vital during the heatwave. For a small extra charge (around €30), you can get a 3-course dinner cooked by the host, which was delicious, and served outside in the courtyard. Breakfast was also served in the courtyard and was plentiful to start the day. There is a village car park (free) next door to the B&B and had plenty of spaces."
