"Private room was more than adequate for our needs. Terrace view was nice and location was good to walk to attractions. Some guests were a little noisy at night. We’re talking 1am, well after the quiet time suggested at 11pm. "

"The hotel staff, service and amenities are too notch. The breakfast is amazing as well. The location is also really convenient to attractions. The room itself was very dark, which, we are dining is the case with European hotels. Each time we came back to our room it had a terrible foul smell, like sewer. Once we opened the windows and the air conditioner / fan was running it was fine, but we had to do this every day for the 6 nights we we stayed - in hindsight we should have “complained” but each day we thought maybe it won’t be like this today. The same smell was in the streets where they were doing construction. Aside from this the hotel is absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend. All the services and staff are so wonderful and attentive. "

"The hotel was okay and somewhat clean. But the bedding was really bad. Bed was very firm and the pillows were flat and lumpy. Better to use a towel rolled up. Not just 1 but all 6 provided in the room. Breakfast was good. Most staff was helpful and friendly. Location was good, no view from any window unlike what I thought I was reserving. "

"The staff was so welcoming from the time we arrived. The hotel property is beautiful. It’s about a 20 minute walk to Florence but they also have a shuttle. I’m a walker so I preferred to walk but it does have hills. The breakfast was so delicious I miss it. They have free parking which was important to us because we were renting a car to drive to Tuscany area."
