"Great location for access to Saint Mathieu and the lake. Good sized bedrooms, plenty of decent crockery, etc. No frills but adequately met our needs. As we were only a couple we were paying a premium, better value for a family. Gardens surrounded the property with plenty of choice of seating, weather permitting."

"Lovely old house with some charming foibles and eccentricities. Even developed a soft spot for the robot lawn mower. Great space, 4 bathrooms (2 ensuite), well equipped kitchen (always great to have basics there - salt, oil, herbs etc), great table tennis room, big garden to kick rugby ball. Outdoor bbq plate. Terrace and view lovely. Close to airport suited our family requirement. Lots of sunny and shady spots. Some TLC needed in house - first stair step and ants/bugs in top bedroom - not...

Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. "We had a very nice time at Anne Marie's place. She was really welcoming and helpful. Checking in and out was very quick and straightforward. She gave us great information about what to see and do on the area too. The location is very good, in a quiet place, but close to supermarkets and a few lakes with bars and restaurants. The accomodation was very clean and good. Breakfast was lovely and had a good array of foods: the traditional items expected for a continental breakfast - cereal, butter, jams, pain au Chocolat, fruits, etc- but also a plate with cold meat/charcuterie and cheese. Overall, really nice. We had a lovely time in the garden using the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. Overall, a very nice stay and very good value for the money we paid. Thank you Anne Marie. We will certainly stay at yours again next time we drive down to Spain."
