"A welcome respite from the city. The remote homestay within farmlands grant us a quiet period to rejuvenate. Very clean environment and good breakfast. Loved the abalone porridge! "

"There is a small kitchen, comfy place to stay in for a night or 2 facing the sea. The check in process is that theres no reception, but they label the key properly for your room. So it was pretty easy. Not recommended for those who need lift or heavy bags as there is only stairs "

" I truly enjoyed the time at Tropical Hideaway as a solo traveller. The proximity to the sea and the mountain, not to mention Olleh hiking trails, made it so perfect. Only downside is reataurants because most of them close relatively early. Swimming pool was almost to myself during the day, and the bathtub after night run made my day."

"Pros: Spacious, clean, friendly owners who don't speak English but they can use Google Translate
Cons
Very hard bed with uncomfortably thick pillows. No shower curtain or glass to prevent water from splashing in the bathroom. Seat on sofa is barely 12 inches high suitable for children but not for adults. The sofa and coffee table are so low and there is no other table and chairs so the only way to eat is standing at the kitchen counter. Poorly stocked kitchen. One large plate, one small plate,...

"Clean room, very kind and helpful staff, amazing outdoor heated infinity pool, incredible view from the balcony, onsite convenience store and the Irony Ivory Brunch Cafe was stunning. "
"The location, size, and staff were all fantastic. Having double showers and a separate bathroom was great.
However, the sound proofing between rooms made our stay difficult. We had kids in the room above us, which we could clearly hear playing late into the night, and I could here people talking in the hallway as if they were right outside our door.
We called the front desk to complain about the noise, but there is little that can be done with rooms as big and empty as these to absorb the sound.
I'd probably stay here again, but only if I could be on the top floor to remove the sound of people walking above us.
Also, there were no power outlets near the bed. "
"This hotel is amazing. Professional hospitality and great service from start to finish. We were upgraded to a room with beautiful views, thank you. We would not hesitate to stay here again We highly recommend this hotel "
