"Coming back from a beutifull 15 days at Villa Soleil. I can not say enough praise for all the team at the villa that made our holiday worthwhile. Everything was spot on and the made us truly feel at home. Communication with Wolfgang as the owner was also great, nothing was too much a problem and arranged also a fantastic safari stay. "A great find! The room was spacious and well maintained, the host was lovely, and it was a close walk to numerous stalls with a variety of goods and amazing fresh produce. Having a kitchen allowed me to stay in if I wanted, but the apartment was also close to bars and restaurants. There is a close-by bar that plays loud music, but not super late, and I actually liked hearing the local music. The people I met were so friendly! "Marula is a brand new place with two lovely houses and a nice swimmingpool, all surrounded by a big garden. The location is very close to the beautiful beach, with the nice beachbar 'Ali Baba & The Fourty Thieves' nearby. The staff at Marula's is very friendly. They helped us perfectly by making a nice tour to Shimba Hills. Despite the last part of the raining season, we enjoyed the days we spent here."

"Beautiful property and rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Overall, the food could do with improvement, for example nachos were literally Doritos or something similar, with nothing on them, and everything else mixed into a cup to dip into. Saying that, food at Zanzibar, spice route and some of the breakfast options were very good. Lots of quirks though! Only one restaurant was open for lunch, and even being low season, food took up to 1 hr 45 minutes to arrive, with no real explanation. Same when their system showed us checking out a day sooner than actual, no real reason was provided as to why. Lots of cats, many are strays or kittens, and all should be spayed or neutered. "

"Beautiful all inclusive resort on Diani Beach, about an hour drive from Mombasa International Airport. I had the sea facing Deluxe Room which was absolutely beautiful and spacious. A shuttle is available for a fee to pick you up or drop off at airport. Days have low tide so you can walk on the beach. Resort has Pullman Tours office that can book off base excursions as well as book a snorkeling trip to the sand bar during low tide. I recommend the Mombasa city tour as they take you to the Akamba Market that has 2500 wood carving artists that sell their crafts at excellent prices and most of the money goes directly to the artist. Meals include buffets with food and desserts from around the world. Egg stations available in the morning for scrambles/omelettes and pasta stations at lunch/dinner as well as many other foods. Gym available for a daily fee. Recommend getting a massage at the Spa! Rooms are seaside so you hear ocean roar while receiving an amazing massage. Resort offers several pools- one of which is an adults only. Overall amazing stay. Would stay again- highly recommend! "

"We upgraded to stay in a villa closest to the beach. Well worth the extra money! The resort is located right on Diani Beach. The beach and ocean views are breathtaking. There are many activities offered to the guests. We went scuba diving, glass bottom boat ride, rode a camel, jet skiing and played volleyball. The food and drinks were very good. You won't be hungry or thirsty during your stay. The staff are amazing. Edward from the front desk was very helpful and a pleasure to meet."

"Great property. Excellent food and friendly staff Property needs some love. Showing signs of wear and tear. Rooms very average. Comfortable but definitely needs to be spruced up. Beach is very clean and safe. Had a great time. Food options. Lots of Indian cuisine. Got tired of it after a couple of days. Not much seafood. Please add more international choices in the Buffett "

"This resort was the most Magical and Peaceful place I've ever stayed. The staff deserves a raise because of how attentive and nice they were. The breakfast was so delicious and there was endless options to choose from. I enjoyed my stay so much I didn't want to leave the property. The only suggestion I would have is to offer dessert on their menu. But I would recommend Tombo House to anyway who wants to enjoy nature and wants to get away from the boring ambience of chain hotels."
