"Our room was in the satellite building, in the lower level. The room was nice and very quiet, it just felt like we were in the dungeon. It was close to a banquet facility so the hall to the room was stacked with extra chairs, a broken lamp, and replaced mirrors with barely enough room to get the luggage cart through. The only other issues were the climate control unit was very loud when turning on and off, and the shower lever did not completely turn the tub water off. The space is nice, bed comfortable, and a nice breakfast. We have stayed here in the past and will probably return. Reasonable for a busy weekend in Madison. "

"Steve was such a gracious host! He showed us around upon arrival and even allowed us to stay a little after checkout since we arrived a little later than we had originally planned. Everything about the house was perfect. It was the perfect blend of a cozy cabin in the woods with all the amenities down to the classic Wisconsin junk drawer(which was so handy!! We used several of the things in there!) The house had everything we needed and then some. The living room with fireplace overlooking the beautiful woods and bird “theatre” was our favorite part. We spent most of the day in that room and loved every minute of it! Lots of kids items are at the house so it’s a very kid friendly place, we would love to come back with our kids someday. Thanks for a wonderful weekend! "
