The most striking impression initially is the incomparable view of the Mont Blanc massif from this property. I can't imagine a better location. The staff, bar none, was superb and paid attention to every need. The restaurant was very good. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful city
Walking up the hill was a challenge,i needed .the exercise,anyway.down the hill no problem.the receptipnists were very helpful.i loved the hotel.the 1st day my breakfast was great.the 2nd day,t a different watress was really stressed.the people at the table next to me and i were talking.the watress was confused like it was her 1st day.never got the fruit.we had to ask for everything.when i asked for salt and pepper,she brought me salt,in a bowl,kinda wierd.that day the breakfast was not enjoyable.i loved the hotel alot.location,my room,and everything else.i loved the town so much.took a bus back to geneva to the train station.i'd stay there again. Lots of eating places in town.pretty crowded.go to the top of the mountain.the view is fantastic.

The property was wonderful. It was quiet. Up the hill overlooking Chamonix and a full view of Mont-Blanc, at least in the upper rooms.

We fell in love with this little inn and staff. It captured to epitome of French alpine life. We felt so welcomed and comfortable here. View was unbeatable. We will absolutely be staying here on our next visit to Chamonix.

An amazing experience. . .
I really enjoyed my stay at this fabulous hotel. From my second floor room, I could see snow-covered Alps starting early in the morning around 5:00am and remained light outside until 9:30pm! My room was so nice, clean, with everything I needed. I especially liked the option of having coffee outside my bedroom each morning, weather permitting. (Though I urge US visitors to bring at least 5 or 6 European plug adapters, since the hotel as so few.) I found the staff to be helpful and patient with my many questions and requests. The one dinner I had there was outstanding. Chef Renaut and his team focus on using local ingredients, often from the extensive garden on the property. My only regret was not taking advantage of the onsite spa. Frankly my days were filled with hiking, shopping, exploring nearby villages (especially since bus rides are free), parasailing (which I highly recommend), riding cables cars up to the mountain peaks, as well as enjoying rafting and kayaking on the most beautiful river water I've personally experienced. I also found the food and service at the many, many bars and restaurants in the nearby village to offer a good variety of options, served with patience for those of us who struggled with the names of some of the dishes. I personally appreciated that aspect of community as a whole. If you look lost, confused or struggling in any way, someone will offer their unsolicited help. I'll definitely go back, once I've checked out the rest of the world!!

A scenic and comfortable chateau/hotel with helpful and attentive staff. Only about 15 minute walk to cable car or town center. Incredible views from hotel rooms. An exceptional restaurant on site. The restaurant should have a Michelin star.

The proper was amazing, staff is so friendly, room was so comfortable, bed, Lenin, The only thing they don’t have shuttles to take you everywhere and it’s a walk up hell so you have to be fit.. They have the best coffee ever

Excellent view. Secluded quiet place with a nice 5 minute walk to downtown. The view is best in Chamonix. Definitely recommend this hotel if you plan a family trip to Mont Blanc.

Lovely Stay
The hotel was lovely. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was a nice surprise. The only downside to this was that we were on the bottom floor, the room was amazing but it meant that it was quite loud as we were directly below the kitchen. However being on the bottom floor had it benefits as we didn’t have to walk up or down any steps with the ski equipment. We were particularly impressed with having access to the spa facilities. Although the facilities were fairly basic they were perfect after a long day of skiing. The fact you had to book a slot meant that the spa was completely private which was perfect. In terms of distance to things the hotel couldn’t have been much better. It was roughly a 5 minute walk to the Le Brevent/Le Flegere ski lift and roughly 10 minutes into Chamonix centre.

Nous avons réservé une suite junior qui se situe malheureusement sous la salle de restaurant. Ainsi, bien que la chambre soit agréable, vous profitez tout le temps de votre séjour des mises en place du petit-déjeuner, des repas et de leur rangement. La vue de notre suite junior n'est agréable que si vous sortez sur les chaises longues dans le petit jardin sinon, l'avancée du balcon du restaurant vous empêche de profiter de cette vue qui doit être exceptionnelle depuis les chambres situées au dessus du restaurant. Nous avons trouvé le prix du petit-déjeuner très cher malgré des produits de qualité.

Mysigt hotell med fantastisk vy & superb service
Var i Chamonix för att springa och heja på vänner under den stora löpartävlingen UTMB. Hade alltid fantastisk service från personalen och magisk utsikt mot Mt Blanc. Superfin frukost med mycket hemgjorda och lokala delikatesser. Kommer definitivt tillbaka!
