Just 230metres from the Les Grands Montets ski lift, this flexible, split-level balcony retreat offers a carefree holiday base in the popular resort of Argentière.
Inside, the duplex-level retreat is equipped with cosy underfloor heating and comprises of a scenic open plan living room with double sofa bed, a flat screen TV with DVD player, a modern kitchen diner and a private sunny balcony for 2. A mansard level above provides an extra feeling of space. The mezzanine features a closed twin joinable bedroom and an open child-friendly room with bunk beds. There is a full family bathroom on the mansard floor and downstairs there is a separate WC.
The restful balcony retreat is easily reached by lift. Outside, the 4-storey residence offers on-site resident parking and a sunny shared garden. Its tranquil natural setting is also very convenient; being located 230metres from the Grands Montets ski lift and conveniently close to the train station and resort amenities.

Great location with a view of Mont Blanc. Next to train with free train tickets to get to Chamonix and back throughout stay. A fantastic bakery just round the corner, with an amazing selection of pastries and really excellent friendly service, good prices too. Loved our stay would definitely go again. Had an amazing trip up Aguille de midi! Just breath taking! Lots more still to do. Little red train was also a highlight. Loved Chamonix, lots to do and see for a family with older children.
Accommodation had its own quirky feel
Nice compact apartment in Argentieres. A lovely location, away from the hustle and bustle of Chamonix. We were supplied with complementary tickets for the local trains and buses for the duration of our stay, which was great, and made it easy to get into Chamonix without using the car. Lots of nice walks and a cablecar station close to the property to get up into the mountains. A pretty basic apartment, but no different to most based on my experience.

No wifi, no heating
We arrived to our reservation to find that the unit had no wifi (which we needed for work) nor heating (both of which were advertised in the listing as available amenities. When we contacted the host about wifi, they told us that wifi would not be provided and refused further communication. When we informed them that there was no heat and no way for us to adjust the room temperature, we were left without response.
