Stephen's Mazot, central Chamonix
Stephens' Mazot is a cosy wooden retreat, a small chalet set in a peaceful garden and yet an easy stroll into Chamonix. Within walking distance of the Brevent lift and the centre of Chamonix, the mazot is a brilliant base for skiing in winter as well as stunning walks up to the Petit Balcon in the summer. There is an incredible view of Mont Blanc from the balcony and garden, which surrounds the chalet.
Inside there is a sitting room with doors to the balcony, a galley kitchen at one end and a shower room, also a single sofa bed. Downstairs there is a double bedroom which is accessed via a ladder from the room above or the garden door (snow permitting!) The space is small but with everything you need (if you are tall please check with us as some of the ceilings are quite low). A great place to return to after a day in the mountains. Nearby is Brigitte's Mazot, so if there are four of you why not take both!
Please note that for spring 2026 building work is being carried out in some neighbouring chalets on weekdays. So there is possibility for noise during working hours.
