We enjoyed our stay. We paid a bit more for the balcony room with panoramic view and balcony. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy. The balcony was small and dated but fine to sit out on for a drink. We had breakfast once which was nice. The pool is good for a refreshing dip but does get v busy at certain times. The restaurant we ate at twice and was pleasant both times. The surrounding grounds are lovely and the games provided are excellent for kids and adults. Good access for people in wheelchairs.

A good spot to stay en route to the Alps. Nice room and really nice fresh breakfast. Dinner was ok but the veal was a bit chewy. Better to stick to the nice looking omelette etc. Good walks around the lake and helpful staff. Peter

Set beside the lake with marvellous views. The young team were all very efficient from the receptionist who greeted us to the restaurant team who served us a light dinner (we had lunch before arrival). Breakfast was also very good.

I have stayed in the hotel many times before. Its location and condition are excellent. The only problem we had were with a couple of the restaurant staff were incredibly rude and the service was awful.

The hotel is in nice surroundings, the room was nice with lovely view and good bathroom, but the carpet in the room was dated and looked stained and dirty. There was no ironing facilities and no shower cups or shampoo. Not what you expected in four star hotel. The food in the restaurant was very nice but expensive. All experience was a very expensive hotel for what it was. Also be aware this hotel requires upfront payment and has no cancellation policy, the payment is being taking from your account immediately when you book the date on line.

The temperature in the room was freezing like in the freezer (10°) considering that outside were 20° and raining. Nobody in the hotel couldn't/wanted to deal with the aircon to change the temperature to a warmer one. Kept saying somebody will deal with, but nothing. Rang the reception 3 times and my husband went there once. You can't open the balcony door if you don't want to get suffocated by the neighbours who smoke in the balconies and all smoke is getting in your room. My question is: how can you make the difference between somebody smoking in the room or balcony when the balcony is half meter and a double window door is separating the balcony of the room. Once you open the balcony all the smoke is in the room, so sit in the room and open the balcony door! The breakfast is very, very limited and €17. No vegetables, no beans, no many options of sweets apart from pastry and pancakes. Room carpet/room dated

Great hotel sadly let down by over priced bar. €13.90 for a 500cl beer is sadly untenable. The staff were great and very helpful. Some attention to detail in housekeeping would be good. The amount of grit and dirt on the stairs was sadly noticeable. Great location.

I found the staff unfriendly and surly. The room was nice big room big bed and aircon which was amazing. Nice view too at a great price. Dinner was ok but again staff surly, my daughter didn’t want to eat some of her amuse bouche and the waiter wanted me to eat it!!!!!!! I said no. Good nights sleep, it was lovely and quiet. When we checked out the girl tried to charge me for the room I had pre paid, 3 times!!!!!! She didn’t think I knew what herbergement meant which I did as I live in France - v disappointing.

Very disappointing stay. We had booked a two-night stay and drove several hours to the hotel, but unfortunately we had to leave again on the same evening without staying a single night. The first room had a very unpleasant smell of smoke and sewage/manure, and the air-conditioning unit was leaking water down the wall. We complained immediately and were moved to a second room, which had an extremely strong faecal/sewage smell. We were then given a third room, located directly next to the second one. The sleeping area initially seemed fine, but the bathroom also had the same strong smell. Other hotel guests also noticed the odour. We documented the issues in writing at reception, the receptionist read the document, signed it and kept a copy for the hotel. After three room changes, we were told that our only options were either to stay in one of the affected rooms or accept a downgrade from the room category we had booked and paid for. We therefore decided to leave. What is especially disappointing is that the hotel later claimed that the rooms did not smell, despite the fact that the problems had been reported immediately on site and documented in writing. The staff at reception were polite, but overall this was absolutely not the experience we expected from a 4-star hotel. Based on our experience, we unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel.
