Great house for family/friends weekend gathering and ski weekend at Seven Springs. Plenty of space. Had everything we needed. Firewood on hand was great for fire in awesome fireplace in family room. Enjoyed meeting Russ the owner. We had much in common (mostly golf), so enjoyed chatting with him. Great dude, great place! Will be back!

Fun for all ages

We enjoyed our stay at the Legend Woodland Lodge. We were there for a family reunion with 25 people of varying ages. The house was comfortable with sufficient bedrooms and spaces that it never felt crowded.The kids enjoyed the play area and built a fire in the night. The yard and surrounding areas were great with lots of play structures for children and adults. We enjoyed our stay, visiting Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas.

A group of 20 board gamers spent 4 days gaming in the woods. Great big space. Russ was great at communicating during stay. Hope to be back in the future.

Great Property Great Owner

A group of 16 guys from my church spent a weekend getaway at this property. It was perfect for us. When we got there, the owner spent a good amount of time with us and he is awesome. The beds were comfortable, the communal space was spacious, and there was more room than we needed. This would be great for large groups, or a few families. The pictures online dont do it justice. They provided firewood, which was awesome. Great Property, Great Owner!

perfect ski vacation getaway!

The house was absolutely perfect for our ski vacation with family and friends. It was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had every amenity we could have asked for—from a fully equipped kitchen to a fully stocked playroom and thoughtful touches throughout. We were just a short drive from the Seven Springs resort, which made our trip so convenient and enjoyable. Ski Trip Lodge

This was our second year at "Legends". The house has more than adequate space for the 20 family members who were able to make our ski trip to Seven Springs. The 3-story rustic house has massive wood beams and a 14-foot-tall lighted Christmas tree in the spacious Great Room. We all had a wonderful weekend!

Magical Family Thanksgiving!

We’ve been renting a house in the Seven Springs area for 6-7 years now and this by far was our most favorite. It was the perfect size for us overall. It has an amazing fireplace that made our entire experience more cozy and warm. The layout is great for groups to be watching football, chatting in the kitchen or relaxing in the fireplace room. Great kitchen for cooking. Russ could not have been more accommodating and we loved the location and its proximity to everywhere.

Third Christmas at this home

This is our third consecutive Christmas at this home. It is perfect for our extended family. We love the kitchen with the couch and chair, beverage bar and ample space. Many in our group love all the space for all the games we like to play. It is decorated to give us the holiday spirit. The bedrooms and bathrooms gives everyone privacy while being together.

Nonprofit Retreat Weekend

Our group had a wonderful stay at Legends Woodland Lodge. Russ was great to work with and the pictures don’t do the property justice. We had a group of individuals for our nonprofit who had not met until this weekend. The space and layout proved to be welcoming for everyone and the ability to be inside and outside all weekend for programming was wonderful. Property was also easy to get to and also close to shops if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again!

Professional Development Retreat for Montessori Teachers

Our small school, Western PA Montessori School, was looking for a place for a professional development retreat. This lodge was absolutely beautiful and met our needs perfectly! Russell was responsive with our many questions and also provided additional folding chairs and a large screen to help ensure that our weekend was a success. Huge House and Property

House is great for a big crowd. Most of the bedrooms have their own attached bathrooms, which is very convenient. Lots of room to spread out. The front porch and fire pit are the best!! Such great spots to hang out with friends/family. The hosts have thought of everything to make staying there very enjoyable. They live on the property as well and were immediately available for any questions or concerns that we had. Had a great family reunion!

Perfect for our family reunion

This property is perfect for our family reunion. The little ones were entertained in the game rooms with all the books, toys, and space to lay out their own amusements. Working in the large, well equipped kitchen was a pleasure. The great room and the porch provided wonderful spots to gather together. This is our third reunion at Legends. Everyone looks forward to returning because it fits us so well.

Fantastic Place!!

We were a hiking club of 21 from Ohio who came for the weekend to explore Ohiopyle. The house was perfect for us. We had a big potluck Saturday night and the kitchen was well-equipped with all we needed. Also loved the dining room that was like a restaurant set up with 5 separate tables. Also loved the great room -- fit almost all of us in there for playing Blank Slate and Guesstures games. Plenty of room to spread out to library or downstairs family room if we didn't all want to be together. The rooms were surprisingly quiet while sleeping -- that's rare with all these people. Our only wish was if the weather would have been nicer so that we could have enjoyed the beautiful porch and backyard area. We will definitely stay again!

Great property for extended family

This is our second Christmas stay at this property. The owners decorate to make it very festive and delightful. The teenagers in our group enjoy the nearby skiing. The kitchen is set up well for socializing, with the sofa and the beverage bar. We made good use of the two ovens and industrial stove. The many bedrooms and bathrooms make it work for family groups and couples. This is an ideal setup for our extended family.

“Legend”ary time

This was our 4th time staying here. This time there were 15 of us. I just love this place. It’s a perfect spot. There is lots to do in the area or just find a comfy chair and read a book!! The house is massive! Plenty of room for everyone. If you want to be alone, there are places for that too! The owners are amazing. I can’t wait to come back!
