"This accommodation is owned and managed by a couple who understand the needs of their guests and they go out of their way to try to accommodate your needs. Having said that we had as little or as much contact with them as we needed. In our case we were seeking a quiet week away from 'tourist land' where we would be comfortable and undisturbed. This we achieved. The accommodation we stayed in while next to the house and joined to it by an arch (great for keeping the car cool and out of the sun)...

The house had a lived in feel and was generously provided which meant we had everything that we needed to enjoy our time together and the small children especially loved the enclosed garden with swings, a Wendy house and children’s toys and seats The proprietor very kindly picked us up from the station and gave us a warm welcome. We would certainly recommend it to other families."

"This is a lovely house in the countryside. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is quite large, incredibly so for an indoor one. The kitchen is very well equipped (it even has heat lamps). The neighborhood is quiet farm country, but close to Sens for shopping or a little sightseeing. The landlady speaks and writes only in French. There is a lengthy contract one must sign that is in French. We are in France of course, so this is fair! But I will say my intermediate level (B1) French didn’t...

"This is a perfectly nice hotel. It has a small bar and even though it was Easter Monday and everything was closed they opened it up for us to get a drink. We would have liked to eat at the restaurant just next door, but it was closed.
