I stayed at the Grand Mercure Ambassador Hotel Changwon for a friend’s wedding and absolutely loved my experience. The hotel and rooms were clean, ambience was calm and the staff were professional. Don’t expect them all to speak English and there is no free breakfast on the day of your check out. Breakfast was buffet and gourmet, and I loved the bathroom amenities and toiletries— that bidet (finger taps). Enjoyed the wedding which was also held at the hotel. All in all a solid 8.5/10.

We stayed here for a wedding and it was the most convenient and amazing stay! The rooms were clean and very comfortable! It was a short trip in a taxi to the city centre with lots to do!

Front desk staff were not as welcoming as expected for a supposed higher end hotel. The interior was a little old and tired. Rooms were the same as when I stayed in 2016. And the restaurant was the same as in 2016, expensive and cold food. Overall disappointing experience, compared to my first few visits in 2012-2016, when everything was newer and the staff were friendlier.
