10/10 Excellent

"Lovely clean hotel, I think recently renovated. Staff really nice and helpful. Beach view was also lovely this time of year (early June). One small detail was no AC in room and could have done with it but not a reason to knock it for me."

"Breakfast was amazing. The hotel was about 15 minutes from the center of town and from the main bus station. So it was a trek with suitcases. The bus in front of the hotel ran once an hour. The carpet in the room was stained. There is no AC and the fan did little to help on the day that we arrived. Leaving the windows open meant that it was noisy. The shower door had mildew on it. Good updated decor in the bathroom. Great toiletries. I wish lotion had been provided. Well lit hallways. Nice entryway."

"The hotel is beautifully located with fabulous views, the only downside was the trek to the nearest bus stop, or rather the trek back uphill. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff from Debora in reception all the way to the charming folk who kept our room clean and well stocked with essentials. The waiting staff always had a smile and nothing was too much bother for them. We enjoyed the food with only one exception which was a Sunday roast and that was swiftly dealt with.. The pool and surrounding area was spotless and well provided with towels and sun loungers, we used it often in the hot weather. All together it was a gloriously relaxing weekwith fabulous weather."

"The first room we stayed in was on level 5 it had no air conditioning and was extremely hot. We were told that the hotel was full so we couldn’t move to another room. The window was very small and only opened a few inches. We asked again 2 days later and were given another fan. However, it just blew the hot air around very noisily. After not being unable to sleep on the fourth day we asked again about another room and we moved to a room on the first floor with really quite and effective air conditioning. Neither of the rooms had a fridge and both had windows that only opened a few inches. However, half way through our stay we were told we could sign a safety form and the windows could be then fully opened. On our last day we heard that we could have requested a fridge. Surely all rooms should have air conditioning and a small fridge. These things sadly spoiled our stay in a 4 star hotel with an excellent spa and restaurant"
