"The location is amazing, very short walk to the beach. There are several restaurants in town and please do not forget to visit the bakery (all of these are within walking distance). The host was very nice and answered very quickly when we had a question."

"I love the vibe of this house. The open and airy first floor, the art on all the walls, and the balconies and patios all overlooking the water were all fantastic. The pool was the best part, though. It is large for a private pool and very deep, and a good temperature to stay in for as long as your sunscreen holds out. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, flatware, etc. in a way that many short-term rentals are not. Exterior automated roll-down shutters keep the bedrooms dim and can help keep them cool during the day if you don't want the A/C on in every room. We were only 2 people, but the house would comfortably hold 3 couples and a bunch of kids. Communication with the host was easy via whatsapp, and members of the host family live close by in case there are any issues (we didn't have any issues at all though). There are several taverns or other restaurants and bakeries within a few miles and a very small mini mart. We didn't go looking for a larger market, so I can't speak to that, but I'd advise shopping on the way there if you plan on eating in. There are three beaches within a five minute drive. We visited Charakas beach, which is perfect for families with small children due to the calm and shallow water near the beach. There were two cafes or beach bars on the beach as well."
