Nothing special but OK for a one night's stay.

Restaurant was not working and we were left with Ubereats for dinner after landing. We had to install the app and find our way in French language. Breakfast also quite basic.

Greediest hotel in the world

It was the meanest hotel i have ever stayed in. They took 30 euros for a shuttle (taxi) to the airport a trip take takes 5 minutes and we had to wait 30 minutes for the taxi to come. Going by regular taxi cost less than 10 euros. Fooling us big time.

Nice hotel - but avoid Charleroi airport!

Airport hotel with good location - if charleroi airport wouldnt be a a constructipn mess making it imposaible to walk or take a taxi to the hotel. Furthermorre, Flibbus ”shuttle” from the airport is a scam, selling tickets without any guarantee of transportatipn. Had to wait more than 2 hours for a bus with 0 information or explanatipn.

Wrong decription on hotels.com NO restaraunt

No restaraunt. And brasserie food from vending machine? Forget it. This hotel is incorrectly described. The restaraunt has been closed for 1 year. The advertised bar has been cleared out with only an empty beer tap. The 'brasserie' vending machine had been emptied so I had to order delivery food.

Poor Hotel

Restaurant isn’t open despite being advertised on the booking, had to get Uber eats for food, walls are paper thin so can hear everything in room next door. Although you can see the runway from your room there is no quick walking route to and from the airport as you have to walk completely opposite way to get out of the airport and round the road route (30 minute or so walk) and “shuttle” is just a taxi that costs 20 euros for a 2 minute ride - 40 euros round trip and no guarantee of one being there in the morning if early and before hotel reception opens. Would not use this hotel again

The hotel is advertised as DC Hotel and Restaurant. I specifically chose it because it says it has a restaurant. The hotel directory in each room says enjoy a meal in the restaurant. However when we checked in we were told restaurant was closed. No mention of this when booking. Also we agreed to pay when we checked out the next morning. However when we went to do so, they had already changed the 2 rooms I booked to the credit card I used to guarantee booking. This is contrary to the terms and conditions of booking. Very disappointing.

Despite the proximity to the airport, it is very difficult to travel to the hotel by foot due to the security fencing around the airport site and car parks. This in itself is not the hotel's fault but they do make a lot of money out of this situation by charging 15 euros for their airport shuttle, which is essentially a 5 minute journey. To make matters worse, despite the high price you still need to share the shuttle with other passengers who also paid 15 euros each. Not great especially when, in my case, one of the other passengers was clearly ill and proceeded to cough over everybody in the van for the entire journey. On the plus side the room condition was in line with the price paid and the staff at check in were helpful and polite.

The fact that it is advertised as having a airport shuttle service is an absolute lie. We arrive at 8.50pm and contacted the hotel immediately to arrange a shuttle and they said it would be 15 minutes. We waited outside in the freezing cold and had to phone them 4 times to check when it would arrive. After repeatedly being told it would be 10 more minutes, a taxi turned up and took another family who were also waiting. After 1 1/2 hours waiting we eventually gave up and paid over the odds for another taxi. There is no other way of getting to the hotel apart from a 40 minute walk and this would not be safe in this area , especially when it is dark.
