Top Charleston Hotel Reviews

The Ryder Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent boutique hotel. Walking distance to all downtown sites and restaurants. Would stay there again and recommend it to friends. "

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Charleston Riverview
8/10 Good
"The staff was super friendly. This property could use some updates. It just seems tired, and the parking lot filled up quickly. It’s by a marina so the view is kinda pretty. We did not stay for breakfast as it was a turn and burn for us. For the price though it served its purpose."

Town & Country Inn and Suites
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed here 2 nights and we were extremely happy with it from all aspects, from checking in, cleanliness of the hotel/room, spaciousness of the room with additional chairs to sit on, TV supported 100 channels which all worked at no additional charge. Pool area was clean with ample seating to enjoy soaking up the sun. Machines in the laundry area down the hall were fairly new and clean to utilize if needed. Location of the hotel is 12 minutes from Charleston historic district which was easy drive with our car. Would I stay at the hotel again - absolutely. "

The Francis Marion Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice hotel. Great location in the middle of the heart of Charleston."

The Restoration
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean and modern. Breakfast boxes delivered to your room daily. Super friendly staff. They were so accommodating and held our luggage for a few hours after checking out. Highly recommend! Location is great for all the restaurants and shopping."

The Vendue
10/10 Excellent
"Location is in easy walking distance of numerous fine dining establishments, but you must make reservations at all early in your planning. Most do not arrange more than 30 days out but weekends fil up two weeks out.
The hotel will help arrange those.
The staff is excellent and very attentive to your every need. Cookies and milk after 9 at the Enclave were quite tasty.
The rotating original art is curated with the Robert Lange gallery down the street. This is really great art and the on staff curator gives a in depth tour daily of the works. On request, the guide will continue the tour in the enclave portion of the hotel, where the in house artist studio is observed after hours and there is gallery dedicated primarily to his work as well as other great artists.
Revival, the in house restaurant, is justifiably highly rated.
Rooms are extremely well appointed and comfortable. "

Hotel Bennett
8/10 Good
"Beautiful property and excellent service. Be aware, if you book with breakfast as part of your fare, you will only be credited $30 per person for in-room dining and will be billed the difference. This was not clearly disclosed. "

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston Dwtn - Westedge by IHG
8/10 Good
"Getting off the elevator on the 7th floor was concerning. There was molding that had been removed and plastic covering a wall. I think just a sign saying “pardon our dust” might have helped. Tasha was very helpful the evening of 4/26.

Holiday Inn Express Charleston by IHG
6/10 Okay
"Ok place to stay. Coffee makers not working at breakfast one day. Hotel is a little dated imo. The Expedia rating is not accurate. It is ok to good hotel. Not bad, not great."
