This was one of the better VRBOs we’ve ever stayed at. Host was responsive to any questions, has a very stocked kitchen. We hosted Christmas dinner for our family and had everything we needed to cook a large meal except enough people to eat all the food. . Beds and pillows were great. Everything was very clean. Down a cute tree lined street with young families out and about, walking, riding bikes. Felt like a Safe neighborhood. Would certainly stay here again.

Short, but great stay

My son and I stayed here for three nights. The interior of the house is very nice and modern with a nice kitchen area and comfortable bedrooms. The proximity to the beach is great, especially if you want a nice, quiet stay with a very short drive to all the action.

We had a great time. The house is only 10 minutes from downtown Charleston and 5 minutes from Folly Beach. Jennifer and Tim were great host and checked in on us several times to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend this house.

Best location on James Island

Our family thoroughly enjoyed using the home as it had easy driving access to the house as well as downtown Charleston, the Citadel where we attended the graduation ceremony for Charleston School of Law, nearby stores and Folly Beach. It had everything we needed regarding bedrooms, baths, kitchen and two tables, plus a dining table on the beautiful covered porch. Thank you so much!

Comfortable & Fun Girlfriend Trip

The host was very helpful w/ communication leading up to our stay & instructions for check-in & check-out. House was very clean & cutely decorated. The beds were comfortable, in addition to quality towels & dishes. The location was a short drive from Folly Beach which was a very enjoyable beach town & a manageable drive to downtown Charleston. This was a girlfriend weekend trip for 4 adults. Everyone in our party had very positive feedback about our lodging experience & we would recommend it to others!

Convenient to Folly Beach and Charleston

House was clean, well organized inside. Had a good amount of utensils for the kitchen and plenty of extra towels for the bathroom. The outside could use some TLC. Could use a pressure wash on the deck area and the table and chairs. The grill was usable, but it needs to be replaced. Overall, it was a good stay. I would stay here again.

Pretty much as described. Ease of checking in was good. House was sufficient for us. We did not cook or eat there so didn’t need use of whatever was provided for use. Floors and bathrooms were ok but could have had a bit more attention. Front porch also needed cleaning before used for sitting on furniture. Convenient location to everything Folly!

Location and accomodations were fine. The cleaning crew needs a new training session. We felt there were a number of unacceptable conditions for the price we paid. Would expect to have our cleaning fee refunded. I have pictures and videos to document and we walked the owner through all of our concerns so this should not be a surprise to them

Perfect!

From the start, this house and the host were both perfect. The host sent our details a few days in advanced so that we had plenty of time to plan our trip arrival time. The pictures do not do this house justice! The house was a perfect size for our short weekend getaway. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. The area in general felt very safe. The weekend ended up getting rained out, but the house was stocked up with plenty of things to do to keep the kids busy. The house was close to Harris Teeter, allowing us to get groceries and the fully stocked kitchen made it easy to cook at the house. Overall, my family and I would love to stay in this house or in a home owned by this host again!
