"Our favorite hotel of our entire trip! Centrally located, every single person in that hotel was kind, helpful, and inviting. The rooms, the hallways, the lobby, bar, etc. all amazingly decorated and unique. This will be our go to Charleston hotel moving forward 🙂"
The Ryder Hotel

"My husband and I came for a getaway. We had a very nice stay. The room was nice, staff was helpful, the pool was fun and the location was perfect. Downsides: the door to the room and the wall facing the hallway were thin and the room doors close loudly, which made it noisy at night. The parking is also valet only and $$$. Would still consider returning."
Hampton Inn Charleston-Historic District

"The room smelled musty when we arrived but that disappeared in a day or so. The carpet could use changing. The toilet ran for 45 minutes before being able to flush again. Maintenance came and that went to 15 minutes. The breakfast was fine and the staff was helpful. The location is great. It’s right across from the visitors center where several tours pick up. It’s also right near a bus stop for the free downtown bus. The price was great for the area."
