Complex recently updated

Quick access to Shawnee Sports Complex was the main selling point. Good place to sleep and eat in between games.

The best stay!

I enjoyed staying here. Marie is great with everything and easy to contact. The place is nice and in a quiet area, not too far away from things to do either. Anytime we needed something she got right on top of it. I would stay at any of Marie’s places again!

Weekend stay in Dunbar

We were lucky to find a suitable property near WV State University for the state math competition. The property was clean with a modern bathroom and kitchen, with new appliances. It is located in a cute, quiet neighborhood. We felt safe and comfortable and would stay here again.

Great place to stay for events at Shawnee!

Perfect place to stay if visiting the area for sporting events at Shawnee Complex. Clean and up to date interior and the property manager is awesome. Thanks for everything!

Just ok for the low price

Place was nice but not clean ...hairs dust ..ants on top of kitchen counter. Beds were comfortable,but blankets seems dirty alots of spots.. overall it was ok for low price..

Our stay

Not really suitable for eating a meal. Table was very narrow and small and the stools weren’t functional for comfort. No backs. Probably ok for someone much younger and smaller. There was no can opener, only two forks, no knives or spoons. I would not recommend this unit to persons over the age of 50. The only bathroom is upstairs and the stairs are steep.

Too hot

I wanted to give this a 5star, the rooms are simple and modern, but even with the air conditioner (that was downstairs) cranked up, the upstairs was bearly tolerable to sleep in. Most of us crashed in the living room on the sofa and floors to get sleep. I did text the owner, on the first night and they said the unit had been serviced, but there just wasn't a good air flow or suitable return to make good circulation. Only one register on each room, the master rooms vent was behind a dresser. There are no free standing or ceiling fans, so it was really sweaty. This place would be fine in cooler weather.

This townhouse has so much potential, but needs some amenities added to be worth the nightly rate.The location was very convenient to 64 and downtown Charleston, but the townhouse was hard to locate because it did not have the address posted on the front of the building. The townhouse was spacious for our party of 3 and would be great for families, but needed additional cleaning. We were disappointed that the host did not stock any hand soap in the kitchen or bath, how unsanitary. In addition there was no dish soap or paper towels. There was less than half a roll of toilet paper and only 1 bath towel. Overall, I don’t believe we’d stay again.
