The GuestHouse of Charleston truly exceeded our expectations! The house is located in a prime location, allowing walking to most the popular areas. The house was spotless on arrival, we never experienced any issues. It was the perfect getaway to celebrate! Will be booking again in the future.
A wonderful house in a great location! We had 8 adults in town for a wedding and we had a great time. The host was very helpful, responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.
Really fun to have a comfortable and convenient place for parents, 4 siblings and spouses from different parts of the country to gather for a weekend wedding!
Property walking distance to King for shopping and restaurants. Had 1 parking space. House had plenty of room for our group of 3 to spread out and be comfortable.
Perfect setting for a girl's weekend. The house is absolutely adorable and in a great location! Highly recommend - only note is that all bedrooms are on 2nd and 3rd floor just something to note if you or anyone in your party has mobility issues.
beautiful home with onsite parking, great location and plenty of beds. Host was great with any thing we needed. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend this house to anyone with a larger group!!
This house was absolutely amazing and felt like home from the moment we walked in!
We will be back for sure! The house is so lovely! The rooms were impeccably decorated and were very spacious! The kitchen was equipped with everything, bathrooms were so nice and large, and our overall experience was a ten!
House is very nice and well stocked kitchen. Great location within 5-15 min walk to king st shopping. Owner very responsive and helped us out with special request. No overnight on-street parking. Would definitely rent again.
Our stay was absolutely amazing. The house was immaculate and definitely accommodated our guests comfortably. The only issue we had was the chairs pictured in the kitchen around the table were not the same for our stay. The chairs during our stay were rather large and it made it a tad bit difficult to maneuver around. Other than that I would highly recommend. Clean, comfortable, beautiful and very close to the city!
My wife and I surprised my mother with a trip to Charleston for her 80th birthday. My Aunt, brother and his wife also came and joined the surprise. It was a great weekend and the house was fantastic. It was nice having family all together and in a great location. We “accidentally” met the owner on the way out and he couldn’t have been nicer. We will be back and hopefully stay here.
The house is off the street and parking is easy. The kitchen has everything you might need. The bedrooms are all roomy as are the full bathrooms. Walking distance to almost everything, including restaurants, bars, the waterfront. Just wear shoes a the beautiful wood floors so have a sharp nail sticking up in a few places downstairs, but not in the bedrooms.
Came to Charleston for a family wedding and the house was perfect for our large group. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable, including the murphy bed. The kitchen was very well equipped and most importantly, plenty of bathrooms! We enjoyed rocking on the front porches with our coffee and wine. Other friends and family members staying close by came for a visit and said we had the best place! Our host Kerry was the best communicator I’ve ever had when staying at a rental. We highly recommend this home!
Amazing home perfect for our family! Absolutely beautiful
This place is a brand new renovation of a stunning historic home! So much space for our family with plenty of brand new, spacious bathrooms. Tvs in every room was a major plus! The outside area is incredible too - huge porches and and garden patio with outdoor dining. They thought of everything - playing cards, white noise machines, hair dryers and more! The location is amazing too - tons of adorable bistros and coffee shops and easily walkable to everything! Can’t believe a place this nice is available for rent!
Nice location. Beautiful and clean place. Kerry was very helpful because the ice maker in the refrigerator wasn’t working so she had someone bring us ice.
It would be nice to have towel bars in the two bathrooms downstairs and the fan didn’t work in the half bath. Could use more towels.
There were 8 of us ladies that stayed at 91B Spring Street. The home was one of the most well stocked rentals we have ever visited (kitchen well equipped with all that is needed for cooking, storing, etc.).
The stairs are no joke though, so cardo will happen! The beds were comfortable; the showers were stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
It was a very clean and nice home! We were able to Uber to sites easily.
The Manor was exceptional clean, spacious, with a Victorian presence. Each couple had their own restroom. It was in a great location. We needed parking for three cars and Carrie accommodated us with a spot at a different facility at no cost. We arrived early from Florida and were able to enter the establishment. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of sunlight. Enjoyed the porch and balcony. The only concern was the stairs were misleading, since the rail ended there is still one step on the bottom floor and we kept falling. Maybe a yellow strip or something would help. There were no coffee filters but this was not an inconvenience. I would highly recommend The Manor! They responded to all my questions and concern immediately. Florida and we were
Gorgeous restored home in prime location near King St. We loved the old Charleston feel of the wood floors, porches, and exposed brick as well as the new amenities like brand new en suite bathrooms, kitchen, etc. We had a few issues with not enough linens as we used the murphy bed (which was very comfortable) and a couple of other small issues - but management responded very quickly. Small note, the beds tend to be really tall (they're beautiful and very comfortable) which was hard for some of our group with limited mobility and short stature ;). We had 3 seniors in our group that also really needed some kind of a chair in the bedroom so they could get dressed as the beds were too high to sit on. But minor issues - the place is gorgeous and perfect for our daily adventures in Charleston and nighttime relaxation. Highly recommend!
The property is beautiful. We loved the house but all agree the bedroom descriptions of the bedrooms was not accurate . The listing states that each of the four bedrooms have en suites. The master bedroom shares a bathroom with another bedroom on the second floor. The top two bedrooms and bathrooms were described accurately . My other suggestion would be there is no door on the Murphy bedroom and not a tv which makes that room useless. Adding a door on that room with a tv would also increase living space. We had a great time . I would highly recommend this house just realize only two bedrooms on the third floor have totally private bathrooms
.
