"I really enjoyed my stay overall at the Ansonborough!! From my first interaction with staff until checkout everything was great!! I enjoyed that it was close to nearby attractions but not crowded and was very calm and peaceful for a midweek stay. There was a welcome cocktail and beautiful rooftop that I used to read and relax. The only thing that was disappointing was that online a wine reception was advertised but I learned that they no longer did that but it did not ruin my stay at all as it was plenty of places nearby for happy hour and ect. The room was lovely with so much charm that a chain hotel cannot provide. I will definitely stay again on a Charleston trip."

"Loved my weekend here, great location, nice rooms, Brekky basket were a nice touch. hardest part was the dragging the suitcase up the few stairs from reception. Coffee shop a great addition with nice iced lattes with no added sweet syrups, Just great coffee and milk. Thanks again"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Stay at The Palmetto! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Palmetto! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel genuinely taken care of throughout our stay. The location is perfect — convenient to everything we wanted to see and do — and the hotel itself exceeded our expectations. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, exceptionally clean, and truly top-notch. What really stood out, though, was the level of service. Every interaction with the staff was positive, and you can tell they genuinely care about their guests and the experience they provide. We would absolutely stay at The Palmetto again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Charleston. A fantastic hotel, perfect location, and an exceptional team!"

"Staff was absolutely amazing very nice. Room was clean and fully stocked. We didn’t use the pool or eat breakfast so I cannot speak on that. They seem to have elevator issues it kept getting stuck in between floors for a few minutes before adjusting and I think the ac was out for the hotel but rooms were fine!"

"Amazing from start to finish. Ricardo, bellhop/valet was outstanding. Took our car, grabbed our luggage and delivered to the room. spoke with him daily and gave recommendations. upon leaving, he grabbed our car while we were in Starbucks and found us in there. Loaded our stuff while we got our coffee. Concierge helped us navigate. We were able to check in early. Massages were great. We did room service breakfast one morning, fabulous. AWESOME!"
