"If your are a traveler of a certain age, the Winsome motel will remind you of trips taken with your parents. A basic room, nothing fancy but perfectly suited for a good night's sleep for a weary traveler Our room was clean,the bed was comfortable my wife thought " the bathroom was cute". It's location is great, just off rt 1 within walking distance to whatever you might need. We would absolutely stay there again if we were passing through"

"Overall, our stay was about what we expected based on the listing. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. The cabin was clean, the appliances were newer, and the bed was very comfortable. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. We did not have pets but it is a pet friendly environment with lots of room to enjoy the beautiful gardens and yard. We did not make it down to the river but it was very inviting and if we had more time would have been nice to check out. The only unexpected issues were that the cabin had a noticeable smoke odor, and the owners were living on the property in what appeared to be a makeshift plywood tent. While neither of these prevented us from enjoying our stay, they were surprising and worth mentioning for future guests.Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the beautiful setting and the owner’s hospitality."
