Great Stay at Sunny Daze

Had the family together for Memorial day weekend. We had a great time playing on the lake and the house was perfect. Highly recommend it to anybody who wants to stay on a quiet little cold on Lake Norman with convenience to just about anything.

The place was spotless! So clean! Very cute cozy feel. Not as open as I thought it would be but we all ended up loving the back deck overlooking the lake that lead to the kitchen. House had everything you could need. The kayaks and paddle boards were a plus. Hot tub was nice and clean. location is awesome. right next to anything you could need, 5 min drive! We talked about meeting here again next year!

Great Stay

House was perfect for out 4 couple weekend. We were in town for a Birthday Bash at a friend’s house. The location was great for restaurants and the breweries. Sunrise over the lake was magnificent with a hot cup of coffee. Would recommend for anyone. I am sure summer would be a great stay.

Amazing Views!

Charming home with exquisite bedding and a bright, cheerful kitchen. The hot tub was clean and chairs on the patio and deck super comfy. The views of the lake are mesmerizing and the wildlife was more entertaining than tv. All the attention to details made this stay leisurely and fun. Thank you so much for a stay that was memorable!

Girls Trip

We loved this place. There were nine of us. The house was about 35 minutes from Charlotte so an easy drive. Also close to Birkendale and Davidson. Close to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings with a great view of Lake Norman. Great beds and pillows.

Wonderful house, great area!

We had a lovely stay at this property. Everything was clean and comfortable. The lakeside setting is beautiful, and our dog enjoyed his morning walks on in the quiet and picturesque neighborhood. We loved the hot tub! Plenty of nice eateries and hikes nearby. We’d love to visit again!

So delightful & peaceful

The home is on a quiet, cul-de-sac, and access to the lake was so easy. We loved that there were kayaks and paddle boards. It was a very cheerful place with lots of space to relax. The hot tub was perfect, the sunrises were brilliant. We can’t wait to come back, such a wonderful downstairs for family, and two lovely suites upstairs. a real treat.

Family Getaway

Overall beautiful and cozy home fit for a large family getaway. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. Felt like a cabin and lakehouse at the same time. Pros: large for a family of up to 10, beautiful sight by the lake, hot tub, fun activities to do nearby, basement floor has its own separate set up for a family group with bunk beds and living room Cons: water pressure was low on second floor, rained for first 2 days of our stay fire wood was not covered so it was soaked and was unable to use fire wood supplied, hot tub not covered. Overall no complaints and highly recommend this location. Would love to come back for a second stay.

just what we needed

The pictures represented the property and house correctly. It is clearly a rental property not someones home that you are renting meaning it has all that you will need but not a lot of extras which was just fine for our group. It was very clean and comfortable, beds were very comfortable, kitchen equipped well , beautiful view, quiet neighborhood, kayaks and SUPs were great, lake temp perfect for swimming, fire pit was a nice addition and got used twice, had some rain so sitting outside on porch with large overhang was great.... can’t find a negative...would definitely come back

2 night/42 hour winter stay at Sunny Daze

Lake view!Bed very comfortable and clean!Stayed for two nights. Perfect get away for a family, but definitely not a quiet or private retreat. Anyone with bad knees, back or hip beware all the bedrooms are upstairs or downstairs.Photos are misleading- shows an indoor fireplace, but no mention it is NOT usable. Extremely disappointing for a winter stay.Spa was over chlorinated. Neighbors on each side had their front/back porch lights glare in your eyes while using the spa in the evening. Only seat that didn’t have glare was with your back toward the lake. There is a wooden privacy wall/screen on one side but the spa seat is a perfect height for the neighbor’s back porch light to come through the cracks of the wall/screen. The other side has a full on view of the neighbor’s front porch light.

Great for families not seniors

The property lakeside location was very nice. Just minutes from our Freedom Boat Club marina. Waterfront and dock area a plus. Enjoyed the paddle boating in the evenings at sunset. Nice yard for Rootball game. Relaxing back patio with a lot of shade. Nice welcome package appreciated. Older home but maintained. However too many spider webs inside and out. Kitchen no seating or island. No TV on main floor so only area to watch TV as a family is lower level. Not that large or comfortable for all to view. The upstairs bedrooms we’re comfortable but unable to keep it cool without lowering the thermostat temperature. As a result the lower bedroom and TV room was extremely cold. Advertising and pictures of a Foosball table but it was broken and not usable. Hot tub chemicals were so strong causing burning to eyes that it could not be used until day 3 of our stay. Out of 5 stars I’d give it a 3 mostly due to the location and waterfront.

Great Lake visit

Phenomenal spot for a quick visit to lake Norman. House was perfectly situated on the lake. Rented a boat and spent three days in the water. Great visit!
