Luxury Secluded Lake Home King Beach Views Dock

Let all your worries drift away as you relax at this 3-bed, 3-bath luxury Lake Wylie vacation rental. This home sits in the midst of a 1000+ acre McDowell Nature Preserve. All three bathrooms were renovated in January 2022 to add walk in tiled showers and glass enclosures. With gorgeous views from almost every room, you'll be living in luxury during your stay at this spacious lakefront home. Top floor has two bedrooms and two baths with a number of living areas while the lower level is a separate entrance to a spacious one bedroom one bath apartment with second master, kitchen, living and eating area. Spend your days kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, boating around Lake Wylie that boarders North and South Carolina, or fishing up some dinner! For some city-based fun, Charlotte is just minutes up the road! After a day of adventure come back to unwind on one of the patios as you cozy up to the fire pit and watch the sunset.

This property was built in 1965, then added on over the years. We bought it with a vision and after a major renovation in 2019, and an additional remodel of all three bathrooms in January 2022, it is now a luxury lake retreat for those who stay there. This property is on more than an acre and sits on a point on Lake Wylie with incredible main channel views and sunsets. While this property is located less than 30 minutes from Charlotte center city, Charlotte International Airport and the National White Water Center, 10 minutes from the Charlotte Premium Outlets for shopping and Carowinds Amusement and Water Parks, It is also set in the middle of McDowell Nature Preserve where you will see plenty of deer and other wildlife playing in the woods. You will truly feel like you have escaped civilization.

Waterfront, protected cove, main channel views, incredible sunsets, and lots of seating inside or outside. Top floor has two bedrooms and two baths, while the bottom floor, accessed through a separate outside entry, has a second master, bathroom, second kitchen, living and eating areas.

We include free use of Kayaks (three) and paddle boards (two) during your stay. We also include life jackets and paddles for both. We have recently built a staircase to the beach.

Great lakefront house. We used for fishing off dock for weekend. Pulled in several good sized catfish. Views from both rooms facing lake are incredibly awesome. And nice lower level outdoor covered eating area and lake viewing area. Thanks so much!

Peaceful Getaway

This lake house provided the perfect peaceful getaway for me and my husband. The views were spectacular, the house was clean and fragrant, and the location was very convenient. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely return!

The Perfect Lakeside Escape

Three generations of our family found plenty to love about this beautifully appointed home perched on the shore of Lake Wylie. The configuration of the space, with an autonomous lower level one bedroom apartment, was perfect for us. Lots of indoor and outdoor options for gathering, wonderful views, plenty of water activities, and easy access to Charlotte make this the ideal vacation property.

Excellent views of the lake from several rooms of a beautifully decorated, clean comfortable home. Outdoors - quite and felt private…has plenty of seating and wonderful dock area for fishing. Fabulous Place

We had a wonderful stay for a family vacation. The property and house were all fantastic and over met our expectations. The location was close to lots of things which made it easy to get to groceries, restaurants, and entertainment all within 25 minutes of the house. Beautiful home, more beautiful views!

My family had an amazing stay here at the Luray Lake House. The photos do not do it justice. If you are looking for a waterfront escape with tons of privacy, look no further! My husband loved the privacy of the downstairs bedroom as it gave us almost an apartment-feel. This was the perfect getaway for our large family and we would love to return again some day!

Holiday Family Getaway

Once a year we visit our family here in NC. This year we decide to rent this property on the lake for the holidays. Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful environment for our family holiday celebrations!! We especially appreciated the festive Christmas decorations and tree. The multiple living areas were perfect for our large family to visit, and the two kitchens made it easy to prepare our early Christmas dinner! Besties Getaway

My best friends and I try to get together annually, but sometimes life has other plans so its been a while. This year for our friend-cation we decided on a relaxing lakeside retreat and this property did not disappoint. Our friend flew into Charlotte Airport and it was an easy trip to pick her up from the property. We had lots of fun things to do within a short drive. The house was amazing and the outside accommodations with lakeside views were spectacular! This was one of my favorite rentals!!!

A little slice of heaven!

My dear friend flew in from CA and we had a lovely girls long weekend at this lovely slice of heaven. Absolutely Beautiful

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful lake house for 6 days and it surpassed all of our expectations. The house is absolutely beautiful! The sunsets and sunrises on the lake is worth every single penny. The views are absolutely breathtaking. You can tell the owners of the home really invested a lot into this home and it definitely shows. Every single thing you could possibly need or want is there within the home. They truly made us feel like we were at home. They have the home set up in a way that you can really enjoy family time both inside and outside and that's what stood out to me the most. Our family had such a great time. We truly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back.

“DON’T HESITATE TO GO TO THIS PARADISE!!”

If you’re looking for CHARM, comfort, relaxing, clean, open spaces, do not hesitate! The moment you walk in, the air is filled with this most glorious scent, so much that we had to ask what it was lol. Three living rooms to the backside of the house, each have beautiful views of the lake and is as comfortable as the other. Open kitchen and dining room with all the accessories you will need. Beds are comfortable, clean and styled with great charm. Bathrooms are very user friendly as well as bright and clean. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this rental. Many different areas outside to comfortably sit as well. Easy access to the dock, in which there are lounge chairs to catch some rays and enjoy the beautiful lake. All I can say is, get there.💙

Spectacularly beautiful property!

We rented this house mid-June for a four day family reunion (three of us) and a trip down memory lane in the Charlotte area. We each had a bedroom and bathroom and my brother loved his basement suite. This is a wonderfully designed home for a family get together. Beautifully remodeled, it has amazing window views of the lake and multiple seating areas indoors and outdoors ideal for relaxing conversations and enjoying the lake. We rented a pontoon boat and went out early morning and early evening. The sunsets were lovely. The hosts left us coffee and tea and basic condiments so we were able to cook a little bit without buying too many items. There are lots of board games but we were outside so much that we didn’t get a chance to use them. We feel we found the perfect place and would highly recommend this property.
