Great stay right in heart of Charlotte

The apartment was immaculately clean and what a wonderful touch to have snacks, pasta dinner, wine, and a newspaper and culture waiting for us upon arrival. The location is perfect, a quick drive to anywhere in town and within walking distance of several good restaurants. I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation!

A lovely home away from home

My husband and I had an amazing stay here. From the moment we walked in we felt like we were home. The apartment, building and neighbourhood are beautiful. We walked to dinner a few times during our stay - there are some delicious restaurants that are minutes away. I would highly recommend staying here - a great alternative to a hotel and in a quiet residential neighbourhood that is close to everything.

I could live here!

Our family of 3 stayed here for a week and loved it! The neighborhood is wonderful and very walkable, the location provides great access to our favorite parts of Charlotte, and the apartment itself is adorable. The vintage 4 flat is architecturally lovely and the decor that Jim and James have added makes it fun and modern. What a great company-they think of everything and the stay was excellent.

Anniversary Trip

Our stay here in this trendy apartment was wonderful. Very clean and nice accommodations. They even let us come a little early as we arrived into town earlier than expected. Couldn't have been nicer. The attention to detail by the property managers was excellent. Would definitely recommend this property, and stay here again!

A Great Place to Stay

Right when we first walked into the unit, soft music was playing and it was nice and warm (aparently I brought the cold weather from Boston). It was a nice touch and we felt very welcome! The apartment was extreemly clean, and there were lovely treats for us to eat and drink so we didn't have to go to the store right away. The location was great, easy to get around. I would stay here again!

4 Day Stay

We stayed in this unit and had a great experience! The apartment is charming and well decorated and the host left very thoughtful "welcome" treats which was so nice. The location is great, close to uptown/downtown and you can walk to a number of restaurants (we enjoyed walking our dog around the charming neighborhood). The apartment was spotless and everything about our stay was pleasant and convenient. Highly recommend!

very enjoyable stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hawthorne Lane. Apartment was exactly as pictured. The location was convenient to many restaurants. Our main purpose for visiting Charlotte was to attend the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow. There was a parking lot for the tournament only 5 minutes from Hawthorne Lane so it was very convenient. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Charlie was great to work with and made sure that everything was perfect!

Charlotte March 2020

We are return guests to this property and found the experience consistent with our expectations. The location is in a delightful clean and safe part of town. The apartment decor is fun with a pleasant B&B feel. The owners provide a special welcome basket and are very responsive to any questions. Also the property is convenient to so much of Charlotte. Golf courses and several parks in close proximity which added to our enjoyment during our visit.

So cute and comfortable!

Everything was perfect! The apartment is in an old brick building, very quaint, but decorated in a modern/eclectic style. The hosts (Jim, James and Assistant Charlie), were thorough and accommodating and even provided a welcome basket with wine, treats and muffins for breakfast. Great location - close to everything. Every detail was taken care of. Will definitely return!

Wonderful apartment!

My daughter and I spent a week in this beautiful apartment. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some snacks and fixings for breakfast the next morning. The apartment was very clean, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. There is a lovely covered porch, with comfortable couches where we spent each evening. It is about 15 min from the airport, close to uptown and within walking distance of great restaurants and grocery stores. I am planning to stay here again!

Well accommodating with nicely selected wine and snacks. In house washer and dryer with detergent. Almost everything you would need is provided. The renter, Charlie, is very nice and was easily contacted to answer my questions. This house is conveniently located to the city, epicenter, great restaurants, uptown, South Park mall.. overall enjoyed my stay!

Ideal Comfortable Abode

It was amazing that the host could anticipate our every need. The welcome basket was much appreciated. A well stocked kitchen, comfortable king bed, and lovely dinning and living rooms. We really enjoyed the front patio as we could observe the quiet but youth oriented neighborhood. Four restaurants within four blocks plus a NEW free trolley car within walking distance to take you uptown. Hosts were very gracious. It made us want to return soon and all the family too.

What a great place to stay in Charlotte!

My husband, I and our two shetland sheepdogs stayed for four nights in the Elizabeth/Plaza Midwood neighborhood of Charlotte. It was a great location, 5 minutes from our friends in Uptown, convenient to everything! Our hosts were gracious and helpful, thoughtful and accommodating. The apartment reminded me of a railroad apartment in NYC where I grew up, but even better! Plenty of room, king size bed, wonderful treats left for us by our hosts, nice, cheerful setting, high ceilings, lots of light inside. Two blocks from a good park for the dogs. Good food nearby. We will definitely return! Thank you thank you thank you!
