"Peaceful lakefront getaway! "Wonderful one-night stay! Beautiful, quiet lakefront setting — the lodge was clean, cozy, and the guest kitchens had everything we needed. The jacuzzi in the large bathroom was the highlight for me and host Josh was welcoming and easy to reach. We'd definitely return!""

"May not look like much from the outside, but once the door opened, we were welcomed into a very spacious room complete with sofa area, king bed and lovely small round table with two comfy upholstered chairs. Next to that was a large window which overlooked the river. So relaxing, warm and surprisingly large. Most comfortable room thus far on our journey through Maine. Highly recommend this motel. Best one in the area for sure."

"We loved this place, not least because our River View room gave us a beautiful outlook. We even saw a seal swimming past. The two beds were big and comfy, the room had been renovated and a real person on reception made a nice change. I strongly recommend this place."

"Lubec is lovely - the easternmost village in the United States. Lovely views from the room over the sound to Canadian islands, and you can drive across on a single-lane bridge. Almost no commercial razzmatazz unlike much of coastal Maine. The Inn on the Wharf and attached restaurant was fine. Other reviews have rightly noted that the restaurant can be loud, and service is pretty slow. For once, decent coffee, both in the restaurant and in the rooms. Slight minus: bath plug stuck on half-closed, could not close properly. The only two other restaurants in the village were only open Thur-Sun. A nice diner, Two Spruces is 5 miles away. Otherwise nothing. Would happily go again."

"I was apprehensive about renting a room, but it turns ed out to be a very niece place. Not many choices in Lubec ME. Very nice bar restaurant, Water Street Tavern, in walking distance. Room was very well appointed. Glad I didn't let the pictures change my decision."

"After staying many places Downeast, this remains our favorite beachfront property to stay at. We have been here two times now and we hope to be back again. It has an excellent combination of quiet beachfront seclusion with proximity to Eastport proper. The house itself is efficient, clean and works well for our family of 6. The property is great for kids with a quiet beach great for searching for sea glad. The owners are very responsive and helpful.Highly recommended!"

Oceanfront Home; A Coastal Maine Woodland Retreat

"Thank you Jenny, this was a beautiful vacation. Your house is super comfortable, had everything we needed, very quiet with lovely views of the woodland and bay. Nature abounds. Osprey, Eagles, Pileated woodpeckers, Kingfishers, Terns, Sand pipers (or Plovers not sure which), Herons and we were honored by experiencing the "United Federation of Seagulls Annual Convention" on the mid flats while we were there (LOL)...what a racket but lots of entertainment. We spent so much time on the lower deck just watching the natural spectacles unfold. So many beautiful walks in the area and the bold coast is stunning. We will see you next year."
