"We didn’t stay at Le Cheval Blanc as it was closed for holidays, Hotels.com advised of a nearby chambres d’hôtes and we stayed there ‘Au clos de Charny’ which was lovely, our only problem was our room was up two flights of steep stairs. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a very nice shower room with a good shower. The breakfast was superb, a great choice of cheeses and charcuterie, breads, homemade jams, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. The host is a lovely lady too."

"La qualité et les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur du prix. Le potentiel est indéniable. La piscine est géniale ! Mais l’hébergement mériterait un rafraîchissement. Les salles de bain sont minimalistes et à rénover. La qualité des couchages est inégale. L’espace de vie est très sympathique mais nous ne savions pas que nous devions apporter notre bois pour la cheminée. Du bois à disposition aurait été le bienvenu. Prévoir 20km À/R pour acheter du bois. Nous aurions aimé être informés qu’un...

Supermarket next door. 5 minute drive to a small shopping complex with a Lidl, Macdonalds, Steakhouse restaurant etc. recommend getting the breakfast here.
