This is one of the best Bed & Breakfasts we’ve ever had the pleasure to enjoy. The apartment is immaculate, has ever detailed covered and was immaculate. Anne is an awesome host and the breakfast was incredible.

A beautiful property so close to downtown Chartres. We walked everywhere. Our one regret was not being able to stay longer. A wonderful bed and breakfast. Our host couldn’t have been nicer.

Lovely place

A wonderful stay! Host was lovely; this is more of a bed and breakfast than hotel. Has only 3 rooms; we had breakfast on host's terrace. Very close to historic city center, walking distance to cathedral and other tourist sites.

Fantastic one night stay. A lovely welcome and the room (a flat really) was very comfortable with lovely furnishings and nice touches everywhere. I wanted somewhere that reminded me of (and introduced my children to) the type of place and welcome that i experienced on trips to France when I was a child. I definitely got that with the decor and the breakfast.

Great stay

The 2 bedroom apartment is huge. The owner is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your stay. He even helped us to carry the luggage to the 2nd floor. Few things you should know: 1) it is an old building, so there is no elevator and it is a lot of stairs, 2) breakfast does not include cheese or sausages. It includes croissants, variety of jams, bread, yogurt, small fruit salad and tea or coffee. 3) the buildings is a few minutes walk to the city center and 10-12 minutes walk to the cathedral.

Sehr nette Gastgeber. Die Innenstadt kann zu Fuss von der Unterkunft aus schnell erreicht werden. Parkmöglichkeiten sind begrenzt - es gibt aber eine nahe gelegene Tiefgarage.

Maunoury City Break is in a perfect location to the old town of Chartres. An easy walk to most attractions & to the railway station. Anne & Gilles are friendly & very helpful hosts. Anne kindly assisted us with our enquiries when language was difficult & went out of her way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Her breakfasts were very tasty & catered for in a lovely dining setting. The room was very comfortable, cleaning was of a high standard and access to the property was easy and secure. Thank you to Anne & Gilles for all their assistance with our car hire, it made the experience much easier. Would definitely stay here when in Chartres.
