Perfect Stay Near Houghton

This is a great guest house with two nice bedrooms and an open plan kitchen/dining/living room. It is very convenient to Houghton and the Keweenaw and had absolutely everything needed for a very nice stay.

The ultimate snowmobile/recreation destination!

The property is close by all trails and restaurants in town. The heated garage was a big plus! Owner was great and stayed in consistent communication!

Well Located

Very well kept, clean and roomy. Extremely comfortable place to stay. Location just outside of Houghton provides easy access to everything in the area. You can't go wrong staying at this property.

Clean, modern home close to MTU

We enjoyed our stay while visiting Michigan Tech. The in-floor heat and heated garage were especially cozy as it was a cold and snowy weekend.

Great property and close to MTU

From the cleanliness to the updated appliances to the spacious layout, this property was perfect for us visiting MTU. The location was far enough out to be quiet but close enough to get to town and other places quickly. It fit our group of 3 with extra room to spare. Overall, highly recommend this property if you're visiting Houghton or the surrounding area!

MTU Parents Weekend

We had an excellent stay at the Guest House! Everything was very clean and comfortable. It was a 5-10 minute drive to Houghton, which made the perfect for visiting our MTU student. We’ll definitely book again when we go back for another visit!

Perfect property!

The house was clean and well stocked. The location was perfect, only a short drive to town in a country setting. Excellent communication with the owners and easy to access. We stayed and visited everything from the Porcupine Mountains to Copper Harbor. I would definitely stay there again!

Quiet, clean, and comfortable!

Beautiful home, comfortable, clean, VERY quiet and private. We used it as a base for exploring the Keweenaw Peninsula and it served that purpose very well. Highly recommended.

Beautiful new home. Probably the cleanest property I ever stayed at. Very peaceful which is what I need for business. Awesome internet for visitors needing high speed. Terrific couple who own the home. I had a minor issue and Alex was there in 5 minutes! I do need to share that there is no AC for those who may need it. Highly recommend!!

Perfect for a Michigan Tech visit

This house is about 7 minutes away from campus. It was a perfect location for our MTU visit. Everything was clean and warm (love the heated floors). If our kid chooses Tech we will certainly be back and will recommend this listing to other Tech families.

Weekend in Houghton

My parents and I had a great weekend stay at this property. It was perfect for our needs. Centrally located to our day trips to Copper Harbor and the Porkies and super close to downtown Houghton but also quiet and peaceful. The house was spotless and well apportioned with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was easy and communications was timely and friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Houghton area!

House was as advertised. Nice and roomy with open layout. Large kitchen with plenty of counter space. Everything was in good shape, wifi worked well. Great place to spend some time, would stay here again.

We enjoyed the stay! Everything was wonderful. The place was clean. We loved the special touches of having ice cubes already made, pamphlets for local places, several spices,and laundry soap. The recliner was so comfortable. We only wish the master bed wasn't so hard.

Awesome!!

Perfect size, clean, had all the things we needed. Maybe use scent free detergent. I slept on the couch because the smell was making me nauseous. Otherwise, great stay!
