"My wife and I needed a break from a fast paced couple of weeks of our vacation. This chateau and the property it sits on was nothing short of spectacular. As an extra bonus, Tess, Daphne and Celia were there to serve and help us with all of our needs. The breakfast that was served was always the best of the best, including homemade jams. Beautiful landscaping surrounds the pool, which we swam in and found very clean and refreshing. There are numerous vineyards in the immediate area with gorgeous drives to get there. The restaurants in the area exceeded our expectations, there are no big cities anywhere around. We would drive many miles, even out of our way, to visit and enjoy the company of the people we met at the chateau."

Too cold for us to use pool. Must be great in summer. Immaculately clean. New linens. All very beautifully coordinated. Quiet village. Great shops in Brenne 15 minutes away. One of our party rented a bicycle and did rides in the vicinity We spent time in st emilion for lunches etc. Excellent in every way. "

"Our stay was unforgettable. Olivier and Nathalie are wonderful hosts of a very beautiful hotel with tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms. The dinners (table d'hôtes) were phenomenal with excellent wine pairings from the region. We also very much appreciated the recommendations on things to do in the vicinity and which scenic roads to take. We felt like we stayed with family. It was so peaceful and restful that we can't wait to go back and stay longer. Very highly recommended!"
