"It’s a beautiful property. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa was very good. They do not provide much in the way of toiletries. They charge for using a bicycle. I have eaten dinner in the main dining room and the meal was excellent. Hiwever, I was unable to get into the dining room this time and dined at the bar, outside. We both ordered a steak and potato meal that followed a simple and delicious salad. Unfortunately, we both found our two a steaks, cooked à point ( medium rare) tough, gristly, and almost inedible. We each left two thirds of the beef uneaten. Such a disappointment."

"Incredible stay... the most comfortable bed (and I am fussy!), beautiful room, spotlessly clean, as is the whole house. Everywhere is stylishly furnished. 1 min walk to the main square in St Emilion, free and paid parking nearby. Lucie the host was amazing - so knowledgeable about the town and things to see and do. We will be back!"

"This is a charming spot in the wine country yet walkable to town. The owner is very kind and helpful with any questions or issues. It was super hot during our trip and the A/C was very good. We loved our room. Very comfy. The whole rental property was a mix of old world charm and modern decor and amenities. It is a very old property that the owners have redone making several units. It is incredibly well maintained. Breakfast was served in the patio area and is delicious."

"The location of this unit with city views can’t be beat! With the windows open the city is right there below you - and at night the clock tower and fort are all lit up and beautiful . Such a great vantage point. Unit is very large and we enjoyed the extra space. Unit is not air conditioned so open windows at night is a must. We got to this unit late and had some challenges figuring out how to get in - we missed the time wi Dow to be greeted and actually had to call the host for instructions - at my cost."

"We had a very relaxing 3 nights at this beautiful home. Inside very nicely decorated and comfortable, outside enough sitting areas with natural shade with big trees. During hot weather the house doesn't easily get warm thanks to thick walls and airco is plus in case you need it. Also nice pool area with clean water. If you wanna be close to saint emilion it is only 3 min easy drive. And definitely very friendly and easygoing host, they leave next door but you don't feel it at all."
